Sounds like a plan! Speaking of plans: if you want to take clones, the easiest clones to root come from the lower branches. And since you may have a squat grower, keep in mind that you will probably want to train some of the lowers out toward the edge of the pot so they can be cut when it's time to clone.
Ok I think that should work out. On these seedlings I'm going to use the 4-way lst from the 4 tops created by the 2-3 top.

Yes! No lower branches grow when you top a plant. The lower branches just get bigger and longer and begin putting out new sprouts along their length as they grow. You could use some of those to clone though if you don't mind losing a few of those. Many growers (particularly quadliners) take off the sprout that grows closest to the main stem once they train the branches out. You could let it grow taller and then take that for a clone, though it's not the strongest growth.

The discoloration looks like the early stages of magnesium deficiency, so if you have cal-mag I'd start a low dose next watering. Also, do you have a fan on them? An oscillating fan will keep them dancing and strengthen the stems.
Yes they are right beside a blowing humidifier. The air is bouncing off the wall and hitting them. The other ones have a fan blowing air as well on the rack below. So there is air movement.
