RDWC Lemon Skunk Seeds From DNA

Deep water culture DWC. This type system is one pot with no reservoir. This is a nice place to start. I tell you what. If you don't like this style this next one probably isn't for you.

RDWC starts for Recirculating DWC. This style usually has more than one grow pot and usually has a reservoir. I think you could get by without it, but it's so damn handy I highly recommend one.

This is mine. The res. is out of frame, but there are my pots and lights.

Deep water culture is an acquired taste. Other than fogponics its probably the most demanding and it is SO easy to lose time, and possibly plants. Nutrients need to be taken seriously. The elements go straight to the plants. Unlike soil there is no buffering. It can also be crazy rewarding. Fast vegetation, a perfect root condition, killer buds.
Sweet bro im doing a hempy style grow right now so I understand bout the nutes going straight to the roots but yea im using a.n ph perfect nutes and its going great so far anyway lol

Nice, I've only grown this way and once indoors in dirt. So many ways to do it.

Buy yourself a 5 gallon bucket, a aquarium air pump, airstones a little tubing and a net pot and you can give this a try. You know hydro. Sounds like you got the meters. Join us! Go cheap, but make sure all your bases are covered so if something goes sideways or you just don't like it you don't have much invested. I want to hear all about it

Nice setup only problem for me is that huge rez is deal breaker for me lol. When I first started out growing i tried hydro with an ebb and flow table with a 75 gallon rez. Man dragging that bitch of tub full of water to change it out every week was complete crap on my back. And due to having massive back problems I cudnt keep it up an I only did like 2 or 3 grows with it. I then switched to a los mix (Living Organic Soil) style of growing for alil over a year. Then a few months back started getting the itch to try my hand at hydro again, only thing was the rez ordeal would pull me away from the idea everytime i had it. That is till i ran across sweetsue's setup for growing hempy style hydro with only perlite. And I was like damn perlite is about as light as it comes so done and done  lol.

You can do a 5 gallon bucket! 3 gallon even.... I think I'll do a 12 gallon for my first run. Bought the airstone yesterday and pump has been ordered from the Amazonians

That's great.

My idea for you would be one five gallon bucket and a medium size air pump. Nutrient changes are as easy as buying a second bucket filling it to where you need it with your fresh nutes and just pull the plant out of the first bucket and place it in the second. Don't even mess with the airstones if you don't want to. Cut your airline somewhere on the dry side and with a barbed fitting just unplug it from the first pot and plug it onto the second buckets' airlines and second set of airstones. Pretty easy not to heavy. I don't mean to sell it too hard

I'll keep it in mind if I end up switchn up grow styles right now i wana perfect this way then ill move on cause I do wana learn alot of different ways to grow b4 my end is up lol and I got a ways to go so let the learning curve begin lol

You have to plan for this. I am in the same boat re my back. A cheapish submersible pump is the answer. I have a 1/16 HP pump that I use to clean our instant hot water heater with vinegar. Now I also use it with a garden hose to pump the res out into the backyard (since I don't have a drain near the grow tent). It takes 10 minutes to empty my 90 - 100 liters.

There you go. I like the way you think

Yea thats more spending money I don't have right now and then gotta setup a whole new grow op im good on all that I'll just stick with my hempy setup for now.
Please let us know how it goes. I know precisely dick about hempy grows, and want to hear all about it.

Forsure bro will do. I actually have one of my hempy girls ina 5 gallon wastebasket that I converted into a hempy pot lol. Otherwise most of my other girls will finish ina 3 gallon wastebasket that I converted into a hempy pot. I start the seedlings in a 20 oz foam cup full of washed perlite with one drain hole on the side. About an inch ana half r so from the bottom. That's it no more holes. Its so everything below the hole will be like the reservoir to hold water/nutes. And the perlite will wick up the water to the tap root if it's close enuf to the res. That's why i start them in 20 oz foam cups. And my clones i start in 2litter bottles since they have roots already. And then with that one I've been told to put the drain hole about 2 inches from the bottom. That seems to be the typical height where to put the hole so u dnt end up with root problems and draining/wicking issues. But yea since i really needed to find a way to be easier on my back and I always loved the appeal of hydro growing hempy is the perfect match for me. And then I even went another step to go easier on my back i got a.n. ph perfect nutes. So now I dnt have 2 stand and bend over to adjust the ph i jus mix and water in for the win

See?! Now your just cheating! Haha. Sounds good bro. I wish you luck with it. Keep in touch!

yea see here is my seedlings ina hempy cup this is actually the strain i made and am working on right now dialing it in but yea its black domina x with male hindukush skunk pollen and i will be adding in the genetics red poison auto from sweet seeds as well but yea here is what the hempy process looks like

and a devils carnival in a bigger bucket

but yea thats the hempy process and about every 2 or 3 days 3 for the bigger girls and every other day for seedlings but u just add the water or nutes till u get alil run off stream out the hole and then bam done lol. u shud every couple water/feedings dump her out fully b4 u add more in just to get a flush going but i do that every time if there is any water left in i try and drain out as much as possible b4 each feeding so that way the girls get fresh food anytime they need it.

Well... the plants look pretty good. The leaves aren't getting worse so im happy as a clam. The mix right now is Facilitor, Rapid Start, CNS 17 Grow, Hydroguard and a healthy shot of Koolbloom. The later is hopefully gonna take care of the leprosy leaf. Facilitor really messes with the Ph. Right after I added it the Ph was 3.2. It's a silica based nutrient, they are renowned for making the Ph do the hula. The consistency of this stuff is like a melted gummy bear. It's super thick, and clear. I always dilute nutrients, additives, acid and base with RO before I add them, this was an absolute necessity with Facilitor. It's also prone to foaming it seems. I think i told y'all that I bought a new air pump... between this additive, and the pump its like the mother fucking Lawrence Welk Show in my tubs. I built my SCRoG frames today. I'm going with two SCRoGs because of the two different strains and two different ages. I'm gonna live to regret this. I can hear the "I told you so" now from G Token...

My RO is getting slow. It couldn't be because I never back flush it... no way. So, I'm gonna upgrade my 200GPD filters for a 300GPD set. I gotta get paid first.

The seedlings are going for it. No roots yet, but not far off. I truly cant wait till flower. I really want to try out that LEC. I'm thinking I will use it for 6 or 7 hours in the middle of the "day".

I'm going to divide my grow room with a strip curtain. You know the clear plastic trips used to section off a room in a manufacturing facility or warehouse? That's the stuff in gonna use. The reason for this is because LEC/CMH lights put out a healthy amount of UV in the "C" range which is totally unhealthy to your body. My entire grow room is coated with a shiny aluminum skin... the last thing I need is a feral mole talking friends into a cancer hootinany.

There it is folks. This are looking up! Thanks Rooster

hey bro i noticed u mentioned that ur ph droped to 3.2 well idk if u adjust that or not but i believe hydro should be at 5.5 ph roughly so maybe it could be from that as 2 why ur leaves are burning slightly. but yea that setup looks great bro how much did u pay for those black dog lights?? And bout how big is the foot print on those lights?? im currently running 2 perfectsun dwarf stars and a 1000w cob light in my flower tent right now. I think my next light purchase will be some quantum boards or some kind of white light grow tech. im seeing some great results with the white lights..
