Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Hey man thx. I'm trying the green floor thing with permaculture in mind. Weeds and grasses help to suck out excess of water from the ground I've noticed... not that Cali has that problem

They are getting better by the days now and after what they've been through I say we're heading in the right direction. I think we're setting the ground for strong flowering and we're gonna go with fish powder pretty soon before I leave for my holiday.

Thx man, these OGs look lanky and funny cause there's no central branch after FIM, but that's just how it is. If not for the buds they produce which I tried I'd never grow this plant.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

They tend to come back to their wimpy structure if you don't keep them open with LST or supercropping. They also stretch a lot so they almost look like bamboo when grown without training. Due to that most of the work with this strain is about getting as many branches as possible as early as possible and then working them into even canopy so you can get the right sun exposure and bigger yield. It won't stretch forever though and shouldn't go over 5-6 feet.

When do you leave for your trip? How long will the plants be left to fend for themselves, or do you have someone helping while you are gone?

We're leaving in the middle of August and we're coming back at the beginning of September. I have a friend who could take a look, I think he's gonna be home from holiday earlier than me :thumb:

What can I say? We hit the right brix and weather is finally on our side. Now it's just gonna get better cause they are ready for the next step. Ah the damage you see was done by the hail. I cannot really see any serious insect activity there.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I should've added after my first one in general where I got a mixed bag of Dutch 90's genetics and grew 2 fantastic plants for the time being. Wish I had photos

Hey NCW, I'm thinking that continuous topping might work with more colas so I'm gonna do it again. I'll try to bend her a bit and then I'll reach it. I say if she's ready by mid October I'm good and if she's not I'm screwed. Looks like it's gonna be heavy producer too, the haze side is very strong and will definitely push the yield up. I'm kinda surprised how well she responds to High Brix soil and organic teas. Amazing vigor and very strong smell at this point.
