Raiven's 1st Indoor Grow - THC Bomb Auto - 2014

https://www.420magazine.com/gallery/data/500/20140708_193620.jpg
The 45% and 81 degrees are the current readings. The low and high readings are the lowest and highest readings that the hygrometer has detected overall.

So when Im taking my notes down for the day what information should I put down as TEMP and HUM for that day
If the range is from when I turned it on a month ago up and including every day present and future, then I should only be jotting down the single MAIN numbers Im guessing??

Day 29
Veg. Day 18
07-10-14 6:30 pm

-Plants look amazing
-Large & Medium Plants are super healthy
---I will be topping the Large Plant tonight to make a level canopy with the Medium Plant
------This will also be the start of my NEXT THREAD about my FIRST CLONE GROW...Using the TOP of the Large Plant as my clone
------I will be taking the TOP from the 3rd node
------***EDIT*** I forgot to trim the leaf tips down when I was doing the clone...I will fix that tonight
---I will also be trimming off a couple fan leaves and the smallest newest LOWEST leaves at the bottom to encourage energy consumption to be focused above
-Small Plant has gotten worse
---The yellow and brown "decay" has spread across the fan leaves at the lowest level and more spots can be seen on the new growth above although it is very minimal so far
---I will be removing the lowest fan leaves affected by the discoloration
---I will also be TOPPING the Small Plant tonight as well...The TOP is small still and I will be using the GENTLY BEND IT OVER TILL IT POPS OFF technique
-The soil for each plant about an inch down is still moist
-No Water
-No Nutes
-Temp.: 79 deg - 93 deg
---MAIN TEMP reading on meter at time of check was 84 deg
-Hum.: 26% - 52%
---MAIN HUM reading on meter at time of check was 30%
-24 hr light
---Raised lights up about 3 - 4 inches
-A/C set to 75 deg ran all day long
-Fanned for 24 hrs
---Most of the day fanned indirectly...Just moving the air around the room
---6:30 pm and on plants were fanned directly
-1/4 turn each plant
-Found a weird looking flying insect on the Small Plant as well
---SEE PICTURE BELOW and lemme know if anyone recognizes it
---I checked every leaf and stalk and could not find any evidence or pests at all

Not sure if anybody has said this yet, I didn't have time to go back through. The spots look to me like the burnt leaves on my plants that get splashed with nuts every time I water. The other thing is, from reading the other THC bomb threads I came away with the impression that it was really nute sensitive. Not sure any of that is helpful I'm still new to this.
Athos

So when Im taking my notes down for the day what information should I put down as TEMP and HUM for that day
If the range is from when I turned it on a month ago up and including every day present and future, then I should only be jotting down the single MAIN numbers Im guessing??

That's what I would do, just a suggestion for you is when the lights first come on make a note of current temp and hum and the time it was taken. Then several hours later do it again and so on until you check them at lights off. Then you can see when you need extra venting or a/c or fans or whatever you are using to control air movement, temp and humidity. It will help you to see patterns and how to control it. That's just what I do and doesn't mean it's the only or best way of handling it, just one of many ways.

I see your humidity is at 29%, I personally like to keep mine between 40% and 50%. If you want it to raise try putting your fan(s) on low. Does your fan oscillate? If turning the fan(S) to a lower setting doesn't help bring the humidity up, you can put moisture into the air with water. Just set some in an open container like a bowl or wet a towel and let the fan gently blow over it. Typically you want higher humidity for veg and lower for flower.

LOL. It definitely does.
By the way Raiven, still don't know quite whats happening, but a suggestion: your plants don't need tons of nutes during early life, esp if they're in rich soil in my exp. I would do just clean, pH'ed water the next few waterings for your small plant if I were you, see how it responds. That's me though, I've made several guinea pig plants with mixed results. Every plant is different, some are just a pain in the ass. Every grower runs across a plant that is just plain difficult to please, even if its from the same pack of seeds as their easiest one. Looks like you found one already lol.
Your large plant is doing great, I'd personally let it grow a bit and then take some cuttings to clone. It doesn't seem to be so picky with your style of growing, so if I were you I'd nominate those genetics to try and keep going since they've worked great for you thus far. In your indoor garden you are mother nature, and you're in charge of natural selection ;)

Edit: Never grown Autos, so take whatever I say with a pinch of salt lol, my exp is limited.

You look over the problem solver chart, I'm thinking Phosphorus or Magnesium deficiency. That doesn't mean you have to rush to treat it, I'd watch it a few more days as SoilGirl mentioned and if it get's worse and spreads to more fans and fingers, then I'd give it a treatment. First try to narrow down what you think it is. Invite KingJohnC to give he's opinion, but make your own assessment first and then see if you got it right depending on what he tells you. He's very good with deficiencies. Thanks for having me over.

-Small Plant looks good except for the affected leaves
---The lowest fan leaves are riddled with "decay" and one is really starting to curl upwards
-No water
-No nutes
-Temp.: 73 deg - 95 deg
---MAIN TEMP reading on meter at time of check was 77 deg
-Hum.: 25% - 66%

Athos

Thank you for your input Athos!! I will be sure to look into that...
Ive been so busy lately...
It sounds like a real issue and something to learn more about...
I am very careful not to get any water/nute mix on the plant directly while feeding but its def possible...

:peace:

I'd go ask KingJohnC for help like Shadow said. I want to say its a pH problem, but it looks kinda like a phos/mag deficiency. KJC would probably know.

Hey Shadow thanks for the idea!!
I am setting up a remote camera access in the room so I can look at the meter any time I want...
Since Im out of the house all day I wont be able to check it unless through video feed...
I def want to get the temp an hum under control...
I still have to put the damn effort into making a nice grow box outside in the shed...
Ill post more as I take steps to accomplish this...

:blunt:

In reference to the post from earlier I will be taking multiple readings during the day starting in the next day or so
I will def try your method of added water to the room via bowl or whatever
As you have seen in the pictures I have the 3 pots on a stand
I have one floor standing oscillating fan
During the day when Im gone I have towels hanging from the ceiling blocking anyones view of the plants but NOT blocking air exchange
Lately I have been leaving the fan on high about 15 feet from the plants and oscillating
Along with the A/C on all day set to 75 deg

:peace:

I looked over the chart but nothing seemed to match exactly...
I will take another look and I am sending KJC a message now

thank you very much again!!

If I had to guess (and that would be a guess) i'd say its a Cal/Mag deficiency.

But better wait until someone with more experience looks at it and confirms. Also, i have my rookie ways to deal with that which involve dolomite lime. I add some dolimite lime to the water/feeding and also a foliar spray with ph balanced water and 2 tablespoons of dolomite lime per gal but again I am basically a rookie too with just a few grows under me so wait for someone with more experience to confirm diagnosis and treatment.
