Radogast 2016 - The Neverending Growing

Thanks for the thought Josh, but I won't be transporting any plants in a 2-day move across several state lines except for a 50 year old schefflera and a couple of aloe plants. I haven't any rare genetics except for the locally bred Tangerine Dream.

For security purposes, I will be establishing myself as an indoor/outdoor herb and flower gardener before introducing special seeds to the grow.

A house we are seriously looking at includes a hot tub and an above ground pool - a hot tub explains away kilowatts of residential electricity usage :)

That is brilliant forethought Rad. :high-five:

Hey there Rad - nice buds there buddy. I see you have been busy keepin it green! :thumb: You're kickin it in the gardens. I loved that smoke ring pic in front of the plant lady...I'm like hey that reminds me of Obi Wan in his later years.

Yeah buddy me likes your gardens!

funny you mentioned LSD - I've just harvested a few auto versions of the canna variety and have some seeds for the photo period strains. It's supposed to be +24% THC so I'm hoping so... smells good - plants are hanging my personal stash weed right there. We will see...

Orange Sunshine is my all time fav on the other there, but we always needed a few daze for that one! We used to grow the silly shrooms organically of course. Talk about a good laugh! Eye yi yiii-ii.

So yeah - Rad I hope to have made you and yours proud with my latest harvest. Wish you well with your packing and prep for a move.

Keep it green brother! :passitleft:

Last night I cut and washed one of the 3 larger top branches and gifted to a friend. Today I trimmed and washed the remainder of the plant

I am pleased with the bud size.

I am pleased with the frostiness of the trichomes

Trichomes mosty cloudy - no amber

Trimming took 65 minutes.
Washing took 15? minutes.
Coming down after the two inhales of trimmings plus scissor hash - about 5 hours. :)

Always geat to have you around. Sometime in the fall I'll be following some of your advice on flowering foliar spray.

Awesome Rad! Those buds definitely are plump. Great job! :high-five:

Borderliner is the strain my wife credits with replacing most of her oxycodone prescription during her months of natural healing from a 3 bone ankle fracture. Too bad it is so hard for me to clone. And and all herb of this strain is most welcome in our house :)

Congrats on your harvest Rad! Hope you will stick around here when you move even though you might not be growing right away when you get there.

Been here 2 years and counting - not going anywhere.

Almost 40 years ago, when I had a job working with modems and telephones and I saw a wristwatch TV for sale ... I came up with an outlook on work "Geography doesn't matter." Then along came the internet and proved it :)

Glad to know that, Rad.

Great perspective, sir. Very wise

I don't think I'll ever forget the sound of 1's and 0's over my 300 baud acoustic.
BBS's were a very interesting and fun secret world in the days before the net.
Fun memories. Thanks!

At home I started with the 300/1200 external Hayes modem (ATDT..) I never did the headphones pads and handset acoustically coupled modems.

I did get a tour of a local telephone office where I walked between stacks of 5 lb copper relays that clacked to amplify the clicks of rotary phones being dialed. It was steampunk heaven a few decades early :)

I have a snowcap up for harvest this morning... I took her out of the flowering room last night while lights were still on.. the cameraphone flash photos were awful.

Lookin good Rado! Congrats on a sweet harvest brother. And a nice read on the hallucinogen. Trippy man. Shrooms changed my outlook on alot of things. The 1st time I tripped I ate an 8th of bloomers and watched fear and loathing in las vegas. Friggin hilarious. The next time I listened to some old George Carlin stand up. laughed my ass off for 4 hours. Now I just get a group of buddies together and we hang around a fire at the beach of my private "lake" (11 acre pond) Its always a good time. :)

The system was referred to as "click and bang". I'll bet you can guess how that name came about.
Honestly, it really was an incredibly amazing system. Electro-mechanical. Steampunk at it's core, but with electricity added.

Harvest Day - Snowcap Stacy - and then there were 8

I took Stacy outside for some morning air before trimming and washing.

I have filled the basement smoking / trimming area with boxes and gave away my trimming light.
I'll do my trimming on the old garden room Early Veg table. First, I need to clean up and organize a little.

Snowcap Stacy in the morning sun.

Her canopy came out fairly even with similar sized buds.

In this picture, her leaves look purple.

The previous harvests of Snowcap had no purple (Snowcap Stacy in back left)

Those color contrasts are so pleasing to the eye. What are the aromas/flavors of that one?

I think I saw a few male flowers in a couple of those pics...fyi.

I can't really answer the aroma question. Everyone else says she is the strongest smelling, dankest girl in the room. I can barely smell her. My fingers turn to diesel smells after I touch her.

According to Leafly

Another West Coast strain that has developed quite a legacy for itself, Snowcap is a potent sativa with a nice lemony scent with a hint of menthol. The effects are decidedly cerebral and should trigger creativity, happiness, and a case of the giggles. Believed to be a hybrid of Humbolt Snow and an unknown Haze, the poorly documented genetic history leaves some mystery surrounding Snowcap. One thing consumers will agree on is the all-around flavor and potency of this robust strain.

Alright Rad!

Congrats on the harvest. What a beautiful plant. Crystals for days! I'm sure you're cherishing these last 9 harvests! :Namaste:

I a lot of acid, shrooms and mescalin (Peyote) back in the day. Once I turned 30 that crap took about a week to recover from. I think my Intelligence quotient dropped about 2 points every trip lol! :Namaste:
