Radogast 2 - Return of the Clones

Damn that is a nice bong.

I have been without a bong for several months now and I hate it. Just not in the budget at the moment. Soon, but not now :)

With those legs, I trust she's got a sturdy gate?

nice glass mate i really dig the long necks :thumb:

Despite the legs and the angled cut in the neck, she is more of a lap bong than a table top. I think it's the carb.
She sits real sturdy. At $200 (with nail attachment and bowl) she sits right in that price range of low end tech glass with some notes of soft glass beauty.

With practice, I might be able to do a snap and clear. So far I fill until the neck starts swirling, take an exhale, then a full smoke inhale. I don't have enough air to carb pop and rip. She smokes VERY soft with full smoke. Seems more like a vape inhale than a bong inhale.

That is some very nice glass. RoorRip An ash catcher? You mean no screen and no particles get into the water?

No screen. The bowl stem drops ash and the final spark into an ash catcher chamber below the bowl.
A stem sticks up into the middle of the ash catcher chamber and down into the water of the bong belly.
The tube carries only the smoke. Water filtered smoke swirls up the 3 bubble neck and into the human.
A carb above the water line allows one to clear the bong without sucking air through the bowl and ash catcher.

If you do a hard clear with the carb closed, it can suck a little ash from the ash catcher into the water.

Damn, that's sweet. Have not seen a setup like that before, very cool. Ash/debris in my water has always been a pain, the screens never seem to fit right or they slide out of the way. Planning on going to the Cannabis Cup in Michigan in August, hope to see some nice glass, maybe even find a setup like you have.:thumb:

Sweet Rad. Congrats. Now, because I'm a good wife and share all this with Dale you're going to get him talking about how much we need a bong again. :laughtwo: It's been almost 20 years since we had one, and our last one was an inexpensive acrylic (yuck). When I showed him the pictures of your glass (was that your first journal?) he started asking again. I'll have to remind him that the grow closet is next and then we can save for the bong. I think he deserves one, don't you?

Nice one!:thumb:

It looks like you could pull the bowl to clear too, is that right?

Yes. You can always pull the bowl :)

I tend to load up a snap, just enough of a pinch to burn up in a single inhale.
In a straight pipe or joint, sucking in that final burning ember hurts.
I love watching the final ember dive into the smoke cloud of the ash catcher.

I guess I'm easily amused.

Sue-Just to clarify, I have only one piece of glass, Felix (a big hammer pipe that holds water.)
All the other glass belongs to other family members.
I was looking at those inexpensive acrylic bongs yesterday... but no-one would choose to use it.

I found sphagnum moss today !!!!!! :thankyou:

I found an open rock place yesterday, and took home two rock samples.
I want to use this rock in the soil as well as under fabric pots in what SweetSue calls a SWICK system.
The rocks become wicks for water to climb an inch or more into the pots.

I'm going to drop them into water to make sure they don't hurt the PH.

Can anyone think of a test to see if the rocks wick water? Or will they work?

Left - unlabeled red aggregate rock. Sold as loose rock. Right - bagged rocks. A fireplace blend.

I was shown a cool feature of these Clipper lighters yesterday, if you pull up the flint wheel, it becomes a pipe stirring stick.

To test the rocks place them in a pan with water at the proper height and put a washcloth on top. If they wick the washcloth will become wet. Lava rock, pumice, perlite work the best. Try and see.

Feel free to post a picture or link here . I like named pipes.

I'm happy when people enjoy their stuff. No point in having stuff if it doesn't bring pleasure or health, etc.

I have a nug bottle for "my" stash. It gets dusty.

While we wait .... Today's birthday head shop trip

Took the girl and 3 friends to the head shop to buy her birthday present today!

I know we spent a lot of money on glass this week. But we also spent a lot more on a new indirect water heater- I believe in 10% for art.

I agree Rad. I agree. :thumb:

Sweet collection.

really digging the glasses :thumb:

how about adding an oil glass to the collection ? :high-five:
