Re: Queen's Sophmore Grow F - Lemon Skunk - Big Bang - Along With Some Bag Seed Sprou

Yes I do have a smart phone, LG phoenix. But the tube videos always seem to buffer plus most have no captioning. People don't think about hearing impaired people which sucks.

DAMN IT. sorry I did forget that... I used to have a buffering issue all the time as well when not on the wifi... on the top right hand corner, turn off the HQ, it should load just fine like that... as long as you have good coverage...

It's all good, brotha. Most people do plus i don't have hearing aids yet. I just wish people who make vida would think of the hearing impaired

As for the plants, they are doing good. The tallest is 27 inches and the shortest is 16 inches. Dont need watered or fed til the weekend. Wish I had the room to let them but i don't right now. I am hoping when I move I can dedicate a room just for them and maybe meditation.

I don't know what's going on with clone 2, she has some leaves that are kinda twisted but still has new growth so I am happy. Will try to post pics this weekend.

Hey Aston,

Thanks for the link to the Cary Burn's video on hermaphroditism. I've read some of his postings and he's the man!

Glad to be of service brotha, it is what I am here for :thumb:

Noticed that big bang started getting small brown spots. Gave calmag to all after seeing that. A little nitrogen def with the lemon skunk. Will give bytes tomorrow though I have been foliar feeding them. Thinking about topping them again later. Temp and RH is staying in range. Not sure about Ph since I still don't have a meter yet. But has been mixing vinegar with calmag.

Re: Queen's Sophmore Grow F - Lemon Skunk - Big Bang - Along With Some Bag Seed Sprou

That could be a calcium OR a magnesium deficiency. Aren't you glad you have CalMag which will take care of both?

I am Astonr420 and I approve this message :thumb:!

Re: Queen's Sophmore Grow F - Lemon Skunk - Big Bang - Along With Some Bag Seed Sprou

Yeah, I am so happy I got some calmag. Not sure why I am even seeing brown spots. Soon as I saw them I gave it some. I remember I would spaz out if I saw anything wrong with my plants. Now I stay cool, calm, and collected. Analyze and treat the issue.

I did transplant two of the plants to one gallon pots. A bit root bound but I didn't trim any roots. Now that clone one has been transplanted wonder how tall she will get?

Thanks for the reps miss bud. And you too Aston, my brother! Tes, another week or two.

Still not much to report. Everything is as it should be. Topped all of them and gave them all a shot of calmag. Seeing a little yellowing on one plant, gave nutes yesterday so gonna see what happens. The ones i recently transplanted are recovering nicely. Not sure what is up with clone 2. The leaves look a little twisted but nice and green.

Wow my journal is getting a little buried. Big Bang has really started to bush out. Think i made a good decision keeping her as a mother. Going to transfer her to a 3 gallon pot tomorrow. Lemon skunk will eventually get transferred too. But i want her to bush out more. I don't know the technical term but i have also been gently bending all the plants. I did snap one branch but i didn't have anything here to mend it so I snipped it off. I think she will survive the cut.

It had been 3 days since i gave them molasses so today i gave them some calmag and topped a little more. The next ones moving into flower will be clone 2 and another bagseed plant. I will take pics tomorrow.

How old is this clone? Clones do the twisty thing when they are still developing their root systems. As long as the growth looks green and healthy, no need to worry. She straighten out eventually.

I don't know the technical term but i have also been gently bending all the plants. I did snap one branch but i didn't have anything here to mend it so I snipped it off. I think she will survive the cut.

It's called LST (Light Stress Training).

To get a branch to move lower, tie a string to the top (I use dental floss) and pull it down gently and tie it to something - I use garden canes (the sticks you get in garden stores to prop up tomato plants and the likes).

Let it sit for a day, then pull it down some more. Each day the branch will get used to being in its current position and you can gradually lower it as far as you like. In other words, bend the branch gradually day by day.

If you ever break a branch, just bind the break. You can use cloth or whatever. I use cardboard (from a toilet paper tube) and wrap it around the broken branch and tie it with string to act as a splint. I just leave it there for two to four weeks. (Sometimes I leave it on permanently if doesn't interefere wtih anything.) Like a broken bone, it will heal itself. If you take off the splint, you will see how the plant has created a thick swelling around the point of the break. And like a broken bone, the break will be stronger than it was before the break.

Well the clones are two months old as of today. I thought lst was the tying down, and bending was called something else.

Since I watered yesterday there's nothing to do but just look at them. I will most likely transplant clone 2 to a bigger pot.

Re: Queen's Sophmore Grow F - Lemon Skunk - Big Bang - Along With Some Bag Seed Sprou

Small update. Clone 2 has been transplanted, I think i will transplant clone 1 to a 3 gallon pot tomorrow and move to flowering room. So that will leave me with 3 plants in veg. Cooking now but will update with pics later after wrestling.
