Queen's Garden of Green

Ah you got me. I will continue with the story tomorrow.

I haven't forgotten about posting new pics, just have been slightly side tracked with other things. I hope I haven't lost anyone due to not posting any. But there is also not much to report either, things are going smoothly. Maybe it's me but it seems like it is taking them forever to get some leaves. I know it really hasn't been that long since they all sprouted.
shoot queen I'am that piece of gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe:) aint goin nowere:cheertwo:

ok wheres the update?just curious

Right here my man!!!! Not much to update, been giving them some distilled water that I lucked up on when I went to grocery store. It is really hard to find around here. The black diesel and the church are now open. So I can say I am satisfied with the results.. I finally took some pics before I put them on the fire escape this morning.

I'll get back to the story a little later, still buzzed from my early morning wake and bake.

glad to see your young ladies are groing:) hope they had some good Q yesterday, my brotherinlaw ha a bbq every fathers day and someone made the mistake of telling how good his sauce was, and it is good but now he puts it on everything, hotdogs hamburgers and even the $25 worth of pineapples that I had going on my grill when I wasnt looking.I could have whooped him:) anyway still here stuck on your shoe:thumb:

Howdy QT, Glad I found your new journal. More glad that you have taken time to look back and think about what shaped you. Ahh, fearless self examination, the hardest part is when you get it, and all those you know don't. It takes a while for them to catch up with gentle nudges and love. Personal growth, like a new shoot, takes time to be strong. Looking forward to your grow, good luck and happy gardening!!:peace::Love::MoreNutes:

Hey Smokey, thanks for stopping in, hope you stay awhile. Actually I can't take the credit for talking about life's lessons, it's a trend OMM has started with his journal. Now a few of us write about things but to me it is a form of therapy, kinda helps me unload some of this baggage I have been carrying around.

Fish, yeah they are coming along, just have to be patient. It seems like the sprouting or pre veg takes the longest time. Once they get into veg they kinda take off. The only problem with the bbq was that some of the food was not cooked well enough. It seems like most of us was working the grill instead of the person who was really suppose to be working the grill. But it was still a fun time had by all and the in laws loved me, first time meeting some of them.

Hey Queen! It has been a few days since I have visited. You have a great story to tell. Good thing you have family close by. I am looking forward to see what happens to the Rat!! LoL!!
I remember when OMM started telling his stories. Took me a while to get hooked. One day I read an entire posting of his and have been hooked ever since. I hope you keep writing!

Hey CF, thanks for the compliments. I do like to write, when I was younger I use to write poetry. I think my creative muse was being choked out like I was when all the abuse was happening. Maybe with doing this little bit of writing here, I can bring her back to life. As for the rat, well you will just have to wait and see. I would be estatic if I got half the following OMM has but I am happy with those who are following along. :high-five:

me too, OMM did the same for me! so you got to have something to talk about between tlling us all about how you mixed your nutes today or a leaf fell off your plant! its alot more fun to relate to someone you feel like you know. rather then just a picture of a dyeing plant.( hope know one has this problem) keeps the site real with real people! :):)

Well my question would be, how do you grow in small spaces? My last grow I tried lst but I may have started doing it too late? Even with doing lst in the closet space I had it was still crowded. That was with 4 plants and now I am trying to do at least 6 plants but would like to do about 2 more for a total of 8. And now where I am my closet space is way smaller so I am planning on getting a tent. I would like to do a perpetual but I don't know how many plants that would take or how big do I need the tent to be?

Okay, I thought I'd chime in on this one. My flower box is a 4x2x4 space, so relatively small. I've been experimenting with keeping plants low, and I think that the best way, is to do lots of plants close together and light very low. My HPS is about 12" from the tops and they just went wild this time with tightly spaced nodes and broad growth. I'm actually gonna have to lightly defoliate in veg to open them up to more light underneath.

They are going to stay about 12" to 18" tall, and be little budsicles. I'll update the pics later after I get all caught up with everyone else. Check out my earlier 2 tests in this box for an idea of how I keep things small for a confined space.

Central journal for everything is here, The DIY Build

EDIT: All caught up now. Hooked on the story. Plants lookin' good. Sorry about the germ failure on the other two, but it's good you had backup!

Ugh, it is hot as hades today, been in the upper 90s and now it it just 92...Can we say bday suit? But I am sure the sprouts are loving this heat, glad I watered them this morning...On to the story....

Of course it didn't take long for the next fight to come around but before then I noticed some changes in rat's behavior. The best thing was for the moment he was leaving me the hell alone. But he was spending more and more time with the neighbor across the street. Did I think he was cheating? It crossed my mind but honestly I didn't care, I felt sorry for the person he was cheating with if he was. I think I must've been channeling Matlock because I started taking notes of things that were going down. Plus I started noticing things popping up missing from the house. It was small things that I didn't notice at first til I went to look for something and it wasn't there. I mentioned these things to my sister during one of our smoking sessions. That's when she clued me in about the neighbor across the street...He was a damn crackhead.. Awwww, hell no, now rat is smoking damn crack!!!! That's when everything just feel into place and all hell broke loose......

you know, Inever could understand how someone could be so into a drug that it would come down to stealing or even selling things that maybe they charrished just for a buzz. dont get me rong I've traded some things I like for somethings that I wanted:) mostly brain cells tho:)

Because they're trying to chase the high and get the high they had the very first time. I had a friend who liked smoking mj so much that she would often pawn her kids game systems or games for a qt. It was sad to see and never saw anyone do that for weed.

I have an addictive personality. When I was younger I used to do that stuff once in a while. I have stayed up several days on it before. This is over 20 years ago. I am sure I would be just as crazy if I did it now like I was back then. Thank God I never really loved it. I love to sleep too much. I hate any drug that messes with my sleep!!
:lot-o-toke:
I only smoke weed now. Been this way for a long time. Don't miss the booze and drugs. With my personality though. I can get carried away on the weed too. Sometimes I have to slow myself down and enjoy the buzz I have instead of just smoking to smoke!!

I hear ya, I had my experiences with it too but thank the goddess someone was watching over me during those times. But I was never like some that I had seen addicted. I guess you would say at that time, I was a functioning addict. I never sold anything or stole from anyone. I had a job. I checked myself into rehab and got my sh*t together. All I do is weed now, I rarely drink maybe twice a year if that. Though I will admit sometimes I do miss ac@d, it was fun times then.

I am going to wait until it cools off to continue with the story, so maybe by the weekend I will pick it up. Having a bit of a heat wave over here. The sprouts are loving it but it is killing me. It seems they all have had a growth spurt. A few of them are working on getting their second set of leaves. I can't wait to begin them on nutes and see how they do. I have to get the ac refilled, not enough freon in it. I do have the big fan blowing. But it has been a lot of cold baths the last few days. The heat just seems to suck the energy right out of me.

hot is right! its down right yucky. I hear you on the cid thing. that was and allways will be my all time fav. but alas I too dont do that any more. that will also be comming up in my latest chapter of the story:) on the brite side, its supposed to cool down a bit here tomarrow so maybe by saturday it will for you too. glad to hear about your little ladies liking it at least someone does:high-five:

Hey QTL!!! I like how you implemented the stories into your journal!! Makes for a very fun read! I've known my good share of bad apples that seem to let the drugs control them, and most of those people I don't talk to anymore... Drugs can be enlightening to some and damaging to others, and really I think a lot of it has to do with self control and self worth. I probably tried just about every drug in the book during my college years, thankfully I lived through all of it with no side effects or bad things happening besides a major arrest back in the days for 'slangin... lol I hear ya on the Cid, though, was a very fun experience I am glad I have no permanent affects from it. :)

Yeah, I was never a heavy cid hitter though I use to do it when I was djing. I could drink like a fish and never get drunk. Never had a bad trip either. Back in my younger days I experimented with stuff but I was never a pill popper or shooter, just wasn't my thing. I don't associate with anyone from back then, I keep people places and things in mind. But that was a life time ago, all I want now is some mj and some kool aid with munchies and I am good!!! Thanks about the stories, got the inspiration from OMM and it has actually been helping.

Yeah, its suppose to be down in the 80's by Saturday I think. It's 97 now. I look forward to hearing about that story. Oh the sprouts are just loving it. Wondering due to the heat if I should water them more. Since the temps have been high the past few days I have been watering them the past two days. I usually give it to them in the morning.
