Queen's Garden of Green

yay a family that grows together stays together:) good to hear about the younguns getting their grow on! found a pair if scrubs the other day, but instead of hunky it was more like chunky:) so I will leave the pictures to you:circle-of-love:

Graces, you have experienced quite a bit of death. My parents, biological mother and adopted parents all died from cancer. But this happened while I was an adult. I agree that the pain I have gone through has molded me into the person I am today. I would even say it has made me a better person and a stronger person.

Moving on to the sprouts, they have gotten even bigger. I don't think the pics I take really do them any justice. I gave them some nutes today. They are growing so fast, I am wondering when would be the best time to start lst on them or should I wait for them to get a bit bigger. I can see their stems have gotten a little bit thicker from the wind blowing them. My bf also started his plants from bag seed I had been saving. He was excited to see their roots but it was kinda cute, he put the beans in the wrong way with the root exposed and the seed in the dirt. I had to laugh but he corrected it, now just waiting for them to come up. I didn't have a chance to take pics yesterday so I will try to get to it sometime today.

My husband started germinating seeds from my shit weed, one of 4 survived in rockwood, I need to transplant it to soil, I'll name it afer him, sounds like your BF is doing okay after his hernia surgery. He's lucky he has you to show him the ropes and correct his mistakes.
Keep up the good work, I'll be checking in. Grace/:thumb:

YAY! Glad to hear about the new bf seedlings, and on a roller-coaster turned over!LST needs to be started as soon as you can. I usually lay them over and stake them down as soon as they're about 6" tall. You want them to be supple when bending to avoid snapping.

Yeah, actually one of his has broken above the soil, he was excited. My bf says the sprouts aren't six inches yet but when they get there I will start. I am thinking of using some paper clips to hold them down, good idea?

Yeah, he is doing better. Has started to really moved around more, went with me to the doctors. He is lucky that I can show him what to do. But only because of the good people here who has been teaching me as I go along.

Bent open, and used as like a yard staple, yes, but loosely.

I will have to try that, J, thanks.... Not much to report on the sprouts. I have noticed that they are getting a real good breeze from the fire escape so I am hoping they will have some nice strong stems. Due to get some water tomorrow. I don't know if its just me but it seems like they grow better under sun light than mh light. But what do I know?

You know allot, because your exactly right! Best light there is and it's natural too! :bravo:

lmao lmgtfy ;)

the only true way to judge a persons knowledge these days is to stick them in a room with a question sheet and no internet access! shock horror =D

i know very little without my sillicon sidekick. i do however have enough stored up in my head to wake up in a jungle naked and survive indefinatly =D

ROFL! I was asked at my karaoke bar to let others win the pitcher on trivia night. And I have survived the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia (14 days), the Rocky Mountains in Colorado (9days in January), and the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California (20 Days) with nothing more than the shirt on my back and what was in my jeans pockets; And I did it, simply so I could have the knowledge that if needed, I could do it indefinitely.

im a bit of a post apocalyptic nut. i know several ways to start a fire without an ignition source, im well practiced with a x-bow and i know the best places to hide in the event of a nuke (unless it lands on top of me, lol)

i also know the nearest locations of weapon stores (police and army surplus) and that its about 4.5 miles to the nearest NBC suit (would love to own 1 each for my fam). i have designed a life raft that can be constructed from garbage bags and house doors (flooding is realistc issue in my area) and i keep a generic survival bag next to the front door...just in case. lol

Are you one of those Big Bang guys? Like Sheldon? Cause, excuse me, because you know alot of stuff!!!!:circle-of-love:

I never got into that show but I would feel safer with someone who had knowledge of the great outdoors than someone who was a computer whiz.

I admit, I do love my computer but depending on what those question sheets are about, I think I could do good with it too. I have book smarts but I think I have street smarts too. As for the great outdoors, well I would fail that horribly because Queen does not do camping, fishing or tents unless growing in them...lol

Although I identify with Sheldon, I'm more of the Leonard of the group... without the bad-bad-bad mother. However, I cannot deny that I've been called a male version of Dr. Brennan

There you go again mister know it all, okay, who's Dr. Breann? Leonard's mother?, if yes, then you must be really annoying!!!:slide::rofl:
