I was just gonna post a thread on that truncheon meter. Is it worth the hype? Any drawbacks on this vs the ph pen? Plusses?

I've managed to collect quite a few new strains which was'nt cheap and a limited release at that, so the info I've learned on this is ideal, free fem seeds for life, to be fair I've just popped 4 different sets of regs for the 1st time ever ( feeling brave) so I'm hoping to at least find a male from each to collect the pollen from those and maybe do some cross breeding for myself and see what turns out. Thanks for the help

Truncheon is sturdier & doesn't need periodic calibration, but if you want more precise measurements go for pen.

Yes, you make a stock solution and can keep it refrigerated then you can dilute some for your working spray.

You make a concentrated stock solution that you can keep in storage. Dilute that with water in your spray bottle for a working spray.

Can you do back crossing in this way? Take 2 clones, flower them spray one to make pollen and the pollinate the other clone?

Yes you can do that, I'm sure a lot of Breeders make fems that way.

Sure, feminized would be refered to as S1, S2 etc.

A bx1 would be like an F1 backcrossed to either parent. If you do it with like phenos to the same parent three times you get a "cubed" strain and 90% homogeneous traits. But the pheno selection is very important or you dont get any where near the 90%

Ah ok wasn't sure about that part. I see a breeder called ethos genetics only breeds with females and feminized seeds.
