Hello to u all and well done pennywise on all the wins over the last year especially member of the year, I've just spent the last 2 days reading all of this and picked up a few things along the way, thanks.
I've only just invested in led's the other week and now because of you guys I already want a quantum board. My main interest was the spraying of sts to make female seeds. What I want to ask you pennywise and anyone else who may know, would this not produce possible Hermies in the batch of seeds with hermieing the plant in the 1st place to make seeds. Hope your all having a good day.
 
it's not likely to pass on any hermie traits to future generations. The offspring will be totally normal other than being all females.
 
Hello pennywise, I'm only asking as it is something I had not heard and was intrested soon as I read it so googled and one of the threads on the main page said in the header you can get Hermies, just looked for it and then read the full article and it says if there is a light leak you may get Hermie pollen. How best is it to collect the pollen once there ready, snip it off and rub it over a screen like I saw u do in an earlier post or just let it self polinate. Do you have a post on it somewhere?, plants are looking awesome once again I see, hats off to you and well done. You were one of the 1st names I came across where I knew straight away you knew your stuff when I started reading 420 on the app last year (why they stop it?) It was on a blue dream post about mainlining which then led me too light addict as well, but the advice you were giving was solid and I took interest from then and have been dipping in and out of 420 since then, decided to take the plunge and join as a member the other week and have just done 2 journals this week with old pics I took, not as much detail as I would have liked in my first 2 as I've done them from memory and 1st one started last Oct, gonna do another one some time this week as I'm in veg at about 3-4 week from clone and do it in real time so any advice and help would be great from you guys, just thought let you know I'm a fan and I've also followed a few of you from the threads and will get round to looking at your journals soon, but alas the missus wants some attention as I've hardly spoke to her for 2 days as was catching up with you all on this thread to get too today
 
I remove any plants or branches with pollen sacs from the tent before they open. One male will pollenate every flower in your tent or room. I usually put the branches in a container of water near a window sill. I use Qtips to dab pollen where I want it then after a couple of days I'll spray with water to deactivate any remaining pollen. If you want female seeds and use colloidal silver or silver Thiosulfate then the female plant will produce female offspring. Female plants will pass on only X chromosomes one from the staminate flower and one from the pistilate flower.
