If the high PPFD is related with much white light?

Ppfd is related to photosynthesis not spectrum involving color. Ppfd measures the amount of photons available to produce photosynthesis. Which makes it the most important reading there is when calculating grow lights. And ppfd ratings usually show you the ppfd readout for several locations inside the grow tent at canopy level. So you can accurately judge the amount of light you would need to fit a certain dimension if you have ppfd readouts for the lights you are thinking of running.

Hope this helps Sara. The 300s are pounding away in the tent. I would say they keep up with every standard led using a full spectrum when you are directly under the light. The coverage isn't great but the light can't be denied for the photosynthesis it produces. The quantum boards do however provide better photosynthesis at a wider range. Which is why you guys should make some :-p

Yea i would sooo be on "board" lmao im high right now so i hope im right lol but we were talking about the quantum boards right and how mars should make some lol atleast that's what I was getting out of it haha sry if i was wrong.

If the high PPFD is related with much white light?

ppfd is the number of photons hitting a specific spot each second. White light refers to a light that produces all the colors of the spectrum. Most horticulture lamps have 2 peaks in the spectrum, 1 peaks in blue and the other peaks in red with little color in between. If you look at a spectrum chart for the sun it will be flat line across the spectrum because all colors are present equally. White lights try to mimic this flat line across the spectrum. That's why the white lights are gaining popularity. Remember that most strains can't use ppfd above 900-1000 umols. The Mars Pro II 160 was giving me around 900 umols under the center with 600-700 umols around the edges in my 3x3. So really it performed well in its price range. .

Cant turn back now. In for a dime, in for a dollar... lol

Oh I know, I'm in it for the long haul. The flowers took forever to look like something but they look better each day now. I'm sure it will be worth the time invested.

When u say other options are u meaning for similar lights like the qb still cob setups and everything?? If so are they any cheaper then the qb?

They look just like the QB.

That is valuable information on the Epistar. That means the 320 in my 4x4 is doing its job. With the LED's running the spectrum they run don't seem as bright to me as HID but i know better based on the numbers i have seen posted. I realize that not all the light is visable to us so the measurements are valuable.

Leds have come a long ways but I have a feeling HPS still gives a little better yield but what I'm seeing from newer leds is very high quality flowers.

300w of HPS and 2 x 288 Q boards would probably be very similar in yield I think the QB would give better quality. I have a 600w HPS with dimmable ballast that I started indoor growing with.
