Remains to be seen but i see the spray penetrating the root mass. Also youll have roots wicking water up. My biggest concern is keeping enough water in the bucket. Theres only about 1 1/2 gallons in the bottom of the bucket. May need to rig up a recirc system to keep water lvl up.

I will definitely be watching to see how it goes. I almost bought one of those Dewey misters when I was planning my cloning bucket. I went instead with a sprinkler head on a pump . but I like the idea of not having the pump in the water. keeps the temps down.
