Doing soil grow first.....I want as low maintenance as possible. Using the kind soil, all I do is water with pH'd water within 6.5-7.0. Lets me focus on learning the plant and training techniques, etc. As my experience grows, so will my willingness to experiment with other grows. Though I hear that the buds have better taste when grown organically (even though I know its a slower growing medium). But I have had an infatuation with the idea of Aeroponics for a while now. So I will see how PW does his thang and just sit back and learn and take notes!

I'm using an empty copy paper box now. I've ran soft ties across it and it's working for small amounts....

Use whatever works, my 3 x 3 isnt being used yet. Later it'll become my veg tent.

I just had a look at a vid on the Dewey and I think demister is a complete misnomer. There was no mist, just huge spluttering bubbles farting everywhere. Also, it was loud as fuck, but that could just be due to the air pump that was being used. Still, it seems to be doing the job for you, old man.

It throws both large bubbles and very small mist and yes its louder than any other system ive seen but i can live with that.

I doubt I'd even be able to hear it over the new jet engine I've just installed. 
And that is exactly what it sounds like, I've just realised. It sounds like the engine noise inside a plane at 30,000 feet.

Lol white noise can be a good thing but i cant hear the aero tent outside the room its in so its all good.

The videos are loud but in real life it isn't. Think about it in the video everything is opened up so they can show you what it looks like. I don't hear anything in my set up unless I open the tent and take out a netcup. I sleep inches away from my tent no problems. I also have a commercial pump going in my living room. It's louder then the mister or anything else in my op but still it's just background noise. It doesn't even affect the volume on the tv. Definitely with everything closed up it shouldn't be very loud.

The noise is only part of it for me. The "mist" it was creating in the one YouTube video I watched was pretty disappointing. I think I'll stick with mine..

That is very fine mist but that will be more prone to clogs, you can just open the nozzle it looks like but what about over heating? I don't want to miss quote Jeff but I had my concerns too I said it's too strong and will break the hairs off my roots.
Basically what you see in the videos are the largest drops but it does make very fine droplets too. Jeff says something to the effect of its like raindrops on the roots. Very gentle. All I know is not only am I getting exceptional results but pw results speak for themselves. Dewey Has beat all my expectations so far. Just started flower but I can't imagine something coming up that I'm not happy with. No more over heating water with fountain pumps, no more clogs! What more you asking for?!

As I said I'm going off the 1 video I saw. I feel I've touched a nerve so I'll just sit back in the corner of my quiet room and watch. I will say the couple of photos I've seen of PWs plants in this thread, the roots look pretty on par to mine at same size.
