PW's First Attempt At Aeroponics & PS1000 LED

Re: PW's First Attempt At Aeroponics & PS1000 LED

Sorry as I'm a little confused. I understand you need to lower your Temps in your rez but wouldn't blowing cold air on the roots be counterproductive as the roots need to be warmer that's why we need to get pots off of concrete floors as to not suck the heat out of the roots. Noobie here just askin. Trying to stay educated

Congratulations PW!

I actually feel like we're on a perpetual adventure together, side by side, inch by inch, seed by seed, we shhhmoke and chill in our gardens.

Never knowing what's going to happen next. The story behind the community is our bond. 420 for everyone in the future, but for now we just dream as a cultivating collective...

Funny how much we learn about each other through these journals. Derby we're growing in hydro and we want the nutrient solution as cold as possible to prevental harmful microbes from growing and cold water holds more oxygen than warm water.

I think the cooler may not have a quick enough recovery time. I can give you pic of the guts of one of them..Hehe

I would look into this I think its a more viable option.

That things nice and I'm sure would work well, but by the time you buy the controller for it, it's $200 US plus. I think for 1/5 the price the cooler is worth trying. I read some guys getting the desired results with chilled air. And besides, if it doesn't, it'll be great for road trips.

PW, what's your take so far on the initial dry / cure in the fridge? I have a bar fridge I'm tempted to use.

Mind if I chime in? I wish I had one. I'd use it for sure. Split it up man. You will need meds before the fridge will offer them up anyway. Half-and-half bro. That's what I'd do. Learn and burn!

Good call. I made another LP order to tide me over so I don't need to rush either way.

As an aside - I ordered some Purps. Pretty sure it's Purps grown from BC Bud Depot stock although that's an educated guess. I've never had great GDP so I'm excited to try this.

Im impressed with low & slow, the taste is better and i havent actually cured yet. It will be my go to way of drying for all my future harvests.

I used paper lunch bags, dont close them and change them daily for the first 3-4 days. Took between 12-14 days to get them dry enough to jar with 62% boveda packs.

That will be a huge improvement, i'll race ya to see who can get a 1 lb harvest first. .
I'm hoping to be real close to that with my current grow. She's in a 10 gallon smart pot in a 3x3x7 ft tent with a kick ass light.
