07-01-17: 31 days since pistils appeared.
They've really started building since the new light went in. Now its just a waiting game. ppm's are 660/ water temp is 78/ ph is 5.2
Last bucket change they got AN sensi ph perfect A&B, calmag, senizyme, big bud, Z7 and mammoth P.

Still getting nute burn, ill drop ppm a little more with next bucket change.
Sounds like a plan, may be getting too much of something. Sometimes when we get that we do a 24 hour flush but idk of it helps any, seeing a lot of light burn on our leaves though lol

This dwc part is my first time so still learning, seems i cant run ppm like i did in ebb & flow or top feed

Hey penny, do you drop ppm by lowering the amount of nutes? I'm just starting to measure my ppm so not sure what I'm doing. I'm going by the drain to waist chart from GH flora trio

Yes ill just back off on my base nutrients a little next water change. With DWC and all this heat the girls drink a lot of water but nute uptake seems to be normal. If i add nutrient water in between changes then ppm skyrockets so im just adding plain ph'd water every other day and bucket gets changed every week to 10 days. Im still just a little hot with the base nutes.
Your ladies are so hot bro yeah I noticed the water level drops but they don't take all the nutes with the water so the ppm rises because it's transpiring and replacing with straight h2o leaving extra nutes in the bucket

Are you following the suggested feeding times for the big bud? (if i'm not mistaken it suggests 3rd through 6th week)

I was over 1200 ppm for awhile and had to back off, i started feeding Big Bud last bucket change about a week ago.
What did you use before the sensi? I had the non ph perfect jungle juice mgb and I could hit 1200ppm no problem but with the sensi if I even think about a thousand I'm frying tips to hell lol

Ive always used the Sensi, but ive always run top feed or ebb & flow. DWC seems to be more sensitive to higher lvls of sensi.

Nice and alive with buding girls.
Really need to keep resivior temps below 72F. Upper 60s are best.
I've insulated my totes (bottom, sides) with a 1.5 inch thick ridgid Styrofoam sheet. 66F tank in a 78F room. Raises about 2deg in 12 hours. Top off with colder nutes brings it back down. No more issues with res temps. Putting together a similar box for 5gal buckets. Will test them in a few days for my next grow.
