Well got some scary news yesterday.
I have a job interview.
I don't remember the last time I had one.
I was probably a kid getting a summer job.
So here is the situation.
They are building a big licensed greenhouse and growing facility literally down the street from me.
I just happen to know the owner.
He is expecting to be up and running by late fall.
But they are starting to hire staff soon He said.
So he arranged a job interview with his master grower for me ,YEIKS.
Who he was quick to point out had 19 years experience, oh fek.
Compared to my lowly 5 year experience, which was mostly a steep learning curve.
By steep I mean a cliff . Hehe.
I'm a little intimidated to say the least.
Anyway I have some time to bone up on my limited knowledge.
But didn't sleep much last night just thinking about it.
Excitement, nervousness, anxiety were the main culprits instead of pain this time.
I'll try and get some pics of the place when I can get in there.
Construction crews have the rd closed to visitors still.
But they stock piled all the wood they cleared to build the place.
So I'm hoping to get my hands on some of that as soon as I can get access.
Fingers crossed everything goes well.
Might just be a great 2022, oh fek it of course it will be great.
After the last couple years we have all been through this one is going to be fantastic.

Ok 8x12 shed about 13 feet high.
Might work for a grow room, hehe.
They are including a 8x12 gazebo
And extra 12x24 deck.
I’m waiting for Stacey to get home and I’ll call and finalize the price hopefully.
Ok it’s closed up for the winter but here are the pics.
Grow room is has grey siding.

The plan is to separate them.
Put the gazebo and decks on the back of the house.
And the Grey building beside the house.
We will see what happens I'll let you know tonight probably.
But fek me 12 feet high inside wow.

It's just the promise of a job interview though, not quite a job offer yet.
And they are still finishing the facility so it'll be a couple months before they start interviewing.
I was just so excited when he told me he had mentioned me to the master grower.
The whole thing makes my heart pound through my chest.
The longer it takes the harder it'll be , but I have a few things to keep me busy.

Hey @Hafta Great buds thanks for sharing and for the confidence.
They haven't started the interviews yet.
The owner just told me when they start I already have a appointment.
He told the master grower about me and he is giving me an interview.
It's up to me after that.
Also finally heard back from the town on the shed.
No problem they said, shed is fine but since my steel roof drops onto where the gazebo would be they want to see drawings with snow load ratings.
So that's not an option.
But they said anything under 108 sqft doesn't require a permit.
So at least I have a starting point.

Just think collectively we helped pave the way for this Tech.
Dwc is being adapted to be the farming of the future.
Efficient, scalable and logistically viable almost anywhere.
Don't think for a minute pot didn't help that train get out of the station.
Pot growers rock.
that should make that pic viable.

Now that I've used it.
I wouldn't recommend it.
I don't think it's even strong enough to crack a seed.
There are a couple sponsors that make something similar.
I'd check one of those first.
Here is Winter Queen, see how leggy she is.
And she is 3 months old.

I been dreading posting this set of pics.
Last Saturday I think was 14c or maby previous Saturday but anyway.
I put Winter Princess in the window sill and took a couple pics.
Exactly 8 minutes later she was cooked, fried, baked.
I grabbed the solo cup and it was roasting.
P.S. seal is gone in that window, it's like a magnifying glass.
So I think I cooked her roots.
I checked a couple days later and nothing on one side at all.
So she is in recovery mode.
Here is before pics.
And a couple from yesterday.
