Oh yeah, worthy of note here is that @Bill284 is my Sensei for a reason. This is how one opens up a journal. My friend has learned to take all the ego out of the equation and he does this 100x more to help people than to satisfy his ego. This is a rare quality and one Bill has in spades. Given its state there doesn't look like much in the center.

It's fine bud, no complaints. You've got tk do what you've got to do....

That's exactly the flush I meant. Repeating until you get a clean run off. Just cleaning the soil so the plant uses up all the reserves of nutrients it has. It makes for better tasting and better curing bud apparently?

I'm going to go ahead and flush Miss Wonky today. She has a fair enough amount on her. Thanks for the tip on auto seed

I'm looking for quick plant to harvest turnover and easy maintainance really. Growing solely for personal use. So it has to taste good enough for me to be happy smoking it every day, you know

Wow loads going on here.

For chop - a plant in five minutes handheld shears and hang it upside down in the dark 8 days in 50% Rh and 24 degrees for me. Plenty gentle swing fans and for us AC and stand alone Dehumidifier on 24/7 we use little plastic hangers with built in clothes pegs and hang em off a painters ladder.

I’ve seen Bill doing similar to this stuff. Plus others.

Trim to the near the “bone” and place on big trays in the same room for a day or two. After two days final trim and QC and back in the hanging racks for 3 days. Seal in Grove Bags for 2 weeks minimum. But it smokes great after the first dry and better the second etc

As far as a flush goes, if you are doing a 3x the size of the pot flush with plain water, then YES.

We do about 5 gallons through each 5 gallon pot in coco and call it a “flush” but with Cal Mag still and some of our filler amino stuff. Maybe 3 times a flower period max.

So I feed right until I chop.

Yep. As @InTheShed provides evidence for “you can’t flush your nutes” If you read the documentation in his sig at best you might save some money but in terms of yield probably a wash. In terms of saving money therefore maybe good. But involves risk the plants don’t like it. Plus you have multiple strains or plants to feed its a pain mixing custom 60 litre mixes 3x plus

Growing solely for personal use. So it has to taste good enough for me to be happy smoking it every day, you know

After drying properly you can’t taste it promise you. Get rid the chlorophyll taste and its all good. I had mine tested by an expert taster. He didn’t know if I flushed or not. I didn’t and he didn’t mention it. He would have.

Two cents and another perspective for you: if you water to 10-15% runoff every time you water, there is zero need or reason to flush, in coco or soil, ever.

True that - I’m in coco I do the 2-3 more to give them a stress. They show some stress when its woulnd down off the Cal Mag I like to think I can make a judgement after a day what they might like a bit more of. Plus it just shifts the medium around a bit having so what much flow through them

I’ve never seen anything like this with an auto. Pretty crazy.

My golden girl has started shooting bundles of new pistils in the midst of all this. They look slightly off to me, almost like new shoots rather than pistils. Does this look normal to you folks?

Foxtailing happens sometimes in late flower.
They look a lot like fresh pistils to me.
Are all your ladies autos?
Do you still have the packages they came in?

Unfortunately no packaging Bill. They were Barney's autos though, for sure. Just concerned considering the other two went back into veg, could that be doing the same? With the buds so formed?

I'm now down to two. Really concerned I don't want the last 3 months to be for nothing

It's not revegging.
A fresh coat of pistils won't do any harm.
It might make deciding when to chop a tad more difficult but no big deal.
Is she still draining her pot on a regular basis?
Or is she starting to slow down slightly?

She's still drinking mate. A fair amount. Bit of nute burn on the tips to so she's being a good girl and telling me when she's full. I'm very much inclined to leave it in the hope the buds swell out that much - cause its happened on every cola, even more so nearer the light.

I'll just keep a close eye over next few days and keep you updated if you don't mind, buddy

A second flowering happens now and then but not often.

It's so prevalent it's definitely not foxtails.

Following on from my posts yesterday. These new pistils are really shooting out, everywhere. It really is a lovely sight to see. They are more intense in numbers and are really fattening my buds out, for sure.

This particular girl is on week 8....8th bday on Friday.

SC what day are you on, looks like you’ll have a decent harvest. First one is always the best. My first harvest was 1/2 oz of white widow, battled spider mites the whole grow, I think I smoked a few of them lol , they pop like if u smoked a seed

I remember those days as a naive kid.
$10.00 for a bag of stems and seeds. Occasionally the odd leaf thrown in.
It was like smoken popcorn.
Hope you never see them spidy buggers again.

First grow when I first saw them they looked like ladybugs, I bought dirt in from outside, never make that mistake again. I found a seed in my med pot that’s how I started growing. That was a photo, it wasnt much but what I got was excellent. I sprayed a concoction of baking soda. , alcohol and something else and it fried the pistils, I had no clue when it was finished, killed those little bastards though lol

She's on day 52, and she's had it quite easy to be honest. Just gone from strength to strength I really recommend growing this one.

Oh wow its all good protein, right lol I'd hope to get a bit more than a half oz off her though. An oz would be awesome

I sprayed neem oil on my plant for 3 months, I was lucky I got that. My first grow was a horror show, lol , it was excellent pot , I was suprised. Spider mites are a nightmare
