Thanks Buddy. :ciao:
I'm really excited.
Can't wait to start showing off @VIVOSUN :yahoo:
And building a purpose built grow house has been great.
No putting up with trying to fit a tent into a room.
I'm building exactly what I need.
It's going to be a long term facility so I want it right.
Ive been thinking about this since the fire.
I can't wait either.
Hope everything is good.
Take care. :high-five:

The room looks great, are ya going to sheetrock the ceiling? I'm selling off all my dry-walling tools , let me know if you need anything. I think they make sheetrock heaver these days, I used to be able carry the stuff up 3 flights of stairs. Now I doubt I'd be able to get it on the cart at the home depot. Happy building

Drywall on the walls only.
I'm going to put metal on the ceiling.
I had a light blow up last summer.
Set my grow room and house on fire.
So no growing in the house anymore, insurance is an issue.
Drywall is fireproof I know.
But I was thinking metal sheets of some sort.
Completely fireproof.
I'll probably hit the seams an screws with sheet rock 90 and paint it white.
No need to tape and make it perfect.
Just neat clean and smooth.
Concrete or tile floor, haven't decided yet.
But I do have 150 pounds of concrete ready to go.
Heated floor will be a great way to heat economically.
It's air tight and insulated to the max. :thumb:
And 10 feet high.
Can't wait to fill it.
Now where did I put Apple Betty?
Hope your having a great day my friend.
Take care.

Wow @Bill284 - came for the build and amazing it is! Staying for the rest and the pictures which are awesome from all...

I'm def going metal roof, thinking about it. Really easy for me source. Price won't change. 50% of homes here are built out of it.

Awesome,

DeeBeeBee

@Bill284
Nice building, built better than most houses.
You mentioned you have not yet put in your floor. I suggest you taper it and put in a floor drain, even if you cap it when not in use. It may save you some mold issues in a tightly sealed room. You can squeegee any floor moisture outside the building and might not need a wet vac. ( you probably already thought of this)

But I do have 150 pounds of concrete ready to go.
Is that for 5x5 space
how many inches thick ?
just poured some slabs this summer
