I’m looking for a good name for the entire grow facility now.
VIVOSUN River Run?
Any suggestions are welcome.
Ok radiant floor heating going directly under the pots.
Controlled via Wi-Fi by VIVOSUN.
Wait until you see the end results.
Ok here is Howie helping with the heated floor.
And 150 lbs of floor leveling cement.
That should give me close to an inch of thermal mass to retain heat.
On top of 1/2” plywood, 2x4 frame with R16 Roxul, on top of R21 Double foil insulation, on top of 3/4” Aspenite , on top of 2x6 framing
with R24 Roxul covered and sealed with 6ml poly.
Sound good?
Might retain heat, hehe.
Here is the heater unit and cement.

There's been some changes in the plan.
Although I was excited about the VS light I won't use it now.
I'm going to work with @VIVOSUN instead.
After all they are the future of growing.
Who doesn't want to be part of that team.
I was really hoping to work with them and we are going to work out a agreement on the entire facility.
The VIVOSUN River Run, just a thought but im open to suggestions if anyone has a good name for the Grow House.
Then inside I have a 5x5 Flower room 9' high.
Im putting the VIVOSUN VS6450 in there.

I picked up the heating system yesterday
$$ Stacey is going to kill me.I'm joking she has been wonderful about the entire project.
She is my sweetheart.
So radiant heating and 150 lbs of floor leveling concrete.
Thermal mass , enough?
Plus extra extra extra insulation.
It's starting to come together, if I get a minute ill take pics today .
I'm just going like crazy trying to get stuff done.

And building a purpose built grow house has been great.
No putting up with trying to fit a tent into a room.
I'm building exactly what I need.
It's going to be a long term facility so I want it right.
Ive been thinking about this since the fire.

Gosh those bags are heavy! I use wheels now for all that if I get involved. Hopefully not! A tiled floor is easier to keep clean than a cement one.Morning Stone.

Beautiful garden, thank you for sharing it with us.
I lost my note books in the fire, my memory isn't great.
But I found controlling the heat was a factor.
I didn't let it get above 82 ish, and low 70's at night.
As long as they never get really hot they seem to show off colors.
Lots of air flow and rh in the high 50's.
If I remember correctly it was in the 1.2ish area on the VPD chart.
Do you use the vpd chart?
