If you mean car safety it should be just as safe as any car on the road.
All carbon fiber and Kevlar.
They haven't done actual safety test on the final version yet, probably a few months before that comes out.
Let a Caddy Escalade hit it, can you say adios? Lmfao 🤣

Should be far less than that for the Aptera.
Should get a minimum of at least 200,000 miles from the battery, probably 15 years plus lifespan.
10 years under warranty.
And in 10-15 years its likely the batteries will be cheaper.
I suspect less than $10,000 for the 1000 mile battery in 10 years.
If they can retail it for less than 10 gas I think they will sell a ton of them.
They are freeken cool. :thumb:
Everyone will be driving something like that eventually.

Go man go!
Looking good amigo, almost there.
Got the roof done and most of the walls.
I've got R 22 Roxul in the floor, same for ceiling.
Roxul in the wall, all with 6 ml poly.
1" pine siding over tyvek.
I'll need to think about interior wall, fireproof??
I'm freeken soar but felt good to help. :thumb:
Geesh make me look bad, you built that faster than I moved my tent from one side of the room to the other
not finished yet and I may have to move them over.
, I found stuff I haven't seen in 8 yrs lol,
I found my 20 year old Estwing hammer looking for screws.
10'x10'x 10' ? no need to supercrop
I wanted to build it once and get the height I wanted right away.
Looking good. are you going to insulate
Roxul and 6ml poly. Need ideas for interior fireproof walls.
I did manage to get another small tent Im going to use for starters and drying. this week end has been work work work well work smoke, work smoke, smoke ,smoke work, I still got all my digits , too
Thankfully I still have em all.
I didnt have to measure or use power tools, make sure ya keep all yours
Dont work to hard my friend ,. remember were old

Hard to say.
If its air tight a light car is better off than in a tank.
A heavy tank takes more impact.
A light car gets bopped like a ping pong ball.
I got Tboned by a Lincoln Continental and I am certain the only reason we lived is because we were in a Volkswagen with the windows up.
My friend was driving, I am in passenger and he is making a left turn, light is yellow and Lincoln was barreling in the center lane timing the light, he could see his red was about to turn green and he split between the two cars waiting at the light and never saw us making a left, didn't even touch his brakes and Tboned us dead square, I looked over and was staring right between his headlights.
Hit us at over 50mph but because the VW was so light and windows up we just went flying, did something like 5 spins and landed about 50 yards up the street no where near the Lincoln.

I had every breath I ever took knocked outa me, couldn't breathe for what seemed like a long time, small fracture in my back and that was it.
If we had been in another car like a Cadillac I'd be dead because that Lincoln would have buried itself into that Caddy into one big ball of metal and I would be just a blood stain.
Instead we just flew.
So all just depends on what kind of accident.
Head on you're toast unless you're in an 18 wheeler and hit a light car.
But its supposed to be a pretty tough chassis covered in carbon fiber and Kevlar so I like my chances.
Its also very quick so might be able to squirt out of the way and avoid being hit.

Good luck I’d rather not find out in that.

Me neither, once was enough.
But its at best 50/50 on whether you're better off in big heavy car vs a light one.
Just depends on how you get hit.
My preference would be the small light and quick car though, better odds of just avoiding the accident altogether.

I'm so sorry to hear this my friend.
I'm glad it wasn't worse.

I remember when Shelby put his motor in the Dodge Charger, turned a crappy little car into a car that could outrun anyone. What I’d give to have one of those in the garage. The money that motors worth today , they don’t build motors like that anymore

You know that siding they make out of concrete? It just looks like woodgrain but it lasts forever. Do they have an inside product you could use? Would be fireproof that stuff.
Thank you so much RD.:ciao:
I'm a bit concerned myself.
There is cement board we use for showers, tile etc...
But it's a bugger to work with.
Not concerned about looks or color.
Everything will be painted white.
Cheep, easy to work with and unable to catch on fire that's the criteria.
How are you doing?
Did you pad that beam?

@Bill284 hey how ya doing I got a question for ya and is the perfect place. in the post from the founders friend in the emerald Triangle he talks about 16/60 or a 16/16/60 thru the drying and curing process. this Pot i am growing now are both tried and true good genetics the Black berry Moonrocks and especially the Black lebanon from SSSC available thru Cannapot both have potential to be awesome, I do not want to blow it in the end I am so tired of growing nice buds that smell like Im buckin hay 40 yrs ago it has taken me 2-3 months to get a decent taste and smell. I got a new tent this week end a 3x3x5 ft exclusively for starters and drying how do I make this dry last 16 days with out getting mold or drying to fastI plan on using a PC fan for air in and another for out I have 3-4 power supply from, building my own pcs finally using those parts "I said Ill use them some day" 20 yrs ago . I plan on buying a small baby humidifier to keep humidity around 50 and temps around 65.

Im will take the blame from my past experiences but mistakes make you learn if it was easy everybody would grow awesome pot. some might be genetics everything I have grown has been from a herbies value pack so some of it may be genetics but I wont have that excuse this time so I would appreciate hearing your thoughts
Thx bud

If you're growing in pots you can just stop watering and let the plant die in situ. That gets you a wicked smooth smoke. If afraid you won't time the trichomes right that way you could invest in a used refrigerator. They make the best drying methods. (Well, except for freeze-drying which is otherworldly but costs $5k) Fridge's have a rock-solid moisture level and temp and have enough settings that there's some tunability. Sometimes you can get one for the cost of hauling away on local used/for sale sites like craigslist. That's what I'm doing. Bill may have other ideas.

I did pad that beam. Starting to feel a bit better too. This last one was worse than the others for some reason in that it keeps dragging on and is affecting my mood a lot. Not good. Haxing problems getting motivated. Never really suffered that on more than a one or two day level before.

New grow room looks great, it has a cheery WW2 POW camp aura about it. Love it's a cube. 10ft high is good. Harder to heat but not too hard to heat that's for sure and no height limitations. You should be able to get quite a few harvests every year.

Maybe I'll be able to get you to try out a SIP, 'cept you'll need to pull some leaves on those things, I cant believe the amount of biomass it produces compared to straight up pots. Could grow some impressive autos in these things, that'd be my first recommendation for anyone growing an auto, but photos too. Though I am looking forward to matching against DWC sometime.

I hope you are able to find a good product. How about drywall with a treatment on it? , that has to be pretty fireproof, don'it? Probably looking through online contractor catalogues is the way to find something. Great new products coming every day nowadays. Lemme know if you want help looking, would be happy to help.

Is that your gazebo beside it?

Yes 10 x 12 Gazebo, I'll have to take it down.
I'll put it on the other side of the apple tree next year.
I have the Shed at the side out of the way, close to the back door for me.
Motivation can be killer if you don't have any.
I make a list and put a start clock on myself when it happens.
Otherwise I'll chat on this tablet forever.
Try it, list what you need to accomplish today.
Pick a start time, reasonable.
Give yourself time for coffee.
Then I just start when scheduled.
Sounds silly but it helps on those high pain days.
When moving hurts, helps motivate me.
WW-2 Looking isn't it.
My buddy Steve had some rough pine he brought up for siding.
Board and batten eventually.
But we could name it Stalag 17 for grinns. :cheesygrinsmiley:
5/8 drywall is a possibility.
I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas?
I'd love to put in a minisplit but that would be a expensive.
Eventually I'll do it, I wonder if I can run 2 heads from 1 compressor ?
I'll have to check.
Because it's right beside the shed.
So is the breaker board, 200 Amp.
I'll run bx on the surface, no hidden wires.
Probably of a 60 Amp sub panel.
I'll have to do some math first but around there I figure.
10 feet gives me options for flowering.
I'm not going to put a huge grow in there.
Just something to keep busy over the winter.
I'll try your SIP eventually I imagine.
But I can feed my soil girls full strength nutrients daily with my potting method.
I get growth like crazy has to be close to your SIP or dwc.
Seriously some are drinking a few litres a day.
I don't see that in dwc.
Healthy vigorous growth.
SIP would be a lot faster to water for sure.
Just fill daily, right you fill it every day?
What happens if it runs out a day or so ?
A combination SIP Bill284 Method would be perfect.
Winter will give me time to experiment with different things.
Do some interesting training too.
Ok Amigo I'll talk to you soon.

thnx for the thoughts and ideas re: motivation. I hope people don't get the wrong idea about me, I'm not lazy. I just haven't found a way, after a decade of this, to not become discouraged by the constant bi-weekly or monthly routine of feeling better and better, starting to get past the 'reemergence' level into actual living, and then an incident takes place and I'm back at square one. Fekking groundhog day over here for fek's sake. This year was my best, with only 16 such events, but it almost makes the psych part more difficult because you start having so much more to potentially lose with each day of progress. It's very isolating. You don't want to burden others, plus you don't want to have to try and explain what's going on all the time, and so slowly you drift away from humanity. The approach of winter is getting me anxious too. I'll never get all my yard and garden work done...

... especially if I don't try. Got to do as you suggested, and just start pickin' off battles without burdening myself with the whole war. Trala is very good with this also. I wish I could better impress upon you guys how much you matter to me, and how much you give me what I need to get through the next day.

Eventually I'll do it, I wonder if I can run 2 heads from 1 compressor ?
I'll have to check.
You can get splits with just about as many heads as you want. I was going to do this, but was just not comfortable allowing anyone into my grow area and I wasn't comfortable dealing with the refrigerant part of the install myself.
Unless somethings changed, you cannot run one in AC mode and the other/others in heat mode. They all have to be in the same mode or off.
