Hey @Bill284 I am interested in your evaluation of CBG Strains and the availability of seeds. I would like to grow a strain and see if it may be more of a benefit for my family.

Any recommendations?

And recommendations on where they are available?

SG
Good morning @Sobergrower :ciao: hope you are well my friend.
Lately Stacey has been getting me CBG, she orders for a licensed retailer here in Ontario.
So she has access to everything legally available.
I absolutely love it.
Gummies and actual flower.
It's great for my pain and issues, gives me a cerebral relaxation I don't get from thc anymore.
I take cbd and rso daily, so pot doesn't effect me mentally as much anymore.
Just pain relief, but I'm not complaining it's a fantastic help.
Dutch Passion and Royal Queen both have a line of CBG seeds available.
Or if your in Canada Canuk seeds also has a cbg line.
Maby @cbdhemp808 has a line on seeds for us.
Let me know if they are out of stock or you have a problem.
We will get them for you one way or another.
Have a great weekend.

Stay safe

Morning Bill, hope you got a few hours of shut eye. And you're managing otherwise. Wish you didn't have to suffer.
Hope yer well otherwise, Stacey and baldy too (hope you acted like everything was normal when he got home, first haircut in front of you?) Big moment for him. Ha! Something of a canine whisperer I'm afraid. See the world from perspective of the pack dynamic.
I've got seeds ready to soak. Going to drop some pink runtz auto and fekking incredible(indica). Havent decided which one will get the dwc treatment, which one the SIP. Don't see the logic in risking a mixed tent if I don't have a reason other than personal curiosity, at this stage in proceedings anyhow. I've got some photo runtz too, cant wait to clone those up, I do think I'll start one of those up in sunshine mix4 right away, tucked up in the attic with the tomatoes. I've got other stash zones if the heat is too much for her.

Good morning Amigo. :ciao:
I'm still trying to find that inverter for you.
I had an add from a company I had saved on my tablet.
I thought 12 hrs back up power would be handy.
Now I can't find the dam thing.
I'm still looking, I'll find it .
Do you like autos?
I've got a 10" tall one in flower you can have.
Might get a joint from her, they are a pain.
I've never harvested anything worthwhile from one.
The only on I ever grew big enough to harvest looked bizarre.
The buds looked like pine cones, I threw it behind the shed.
Just having coffee with Stacey now.
Lazy start to the day.
Howie is right here with us.
He is such an angel.
He is the perfect puppy, literally. :green_heart:
Got a bit hot yesterday it the greenhouse fek 110f - 42c what have I done?
Built myself a sauna to work in.
But surprisingly the girls love it.
No adverse heat effects.
If my tent got thet hot forget it.
Be like you boiling your girls.
But no problem, I'm the only one not equipped.
My Irish blood can't handle it I guess.
Once I realized the temp I packed up and fished for the rest of the day.
River is just perfect nice tea color great flow.
Time to get out the waders and the fly rod.
Hopefully Howie doesn't follow me into the river.
He loves to splash around and chase things in the river.
You would have laughed the last speckle I caught I fell in twice landing it.
Never fish in crocks, strictly for gardening.
Ok time for another coffee.
I'll talk to you in a bit.

Stay safe

I keep forgetting to tell you about this hack, so I will briefly (cha... right) and save any response to your last for another entry.

If you really want to squeeze another couple hours out of your photovoltaic/light as is, at dark, or anytime after sunset, you can move the panel under the light and it will self-charge when the light comes on giving you more lights-on time. Obviously, this can be done to varying degrees of hoser-osity with varying degrees of success but I have done it so that should tell you any schmuck can pull it off, hoser too, eh.

2 issues, first I mounted the panel on the peak of the greenhouse.
B) it only works in the dark, as soon as light hits the panel it shuts off the light.
When it gets dark it comes on.
So if I did put the panel under the lightbit would be a strobe light.
Turning its self on and off all night.
I'd have to separate the sensor from the panel.
It made it till about 4:30 this morning still bright AF.
Pretty good I think.
I really want to sneak an led in there, nice Marshydro I still have in the box.
But I'll live with this for now.
But when they get bigger :hmmmm:.

I was thinking you could build a quick heat exchanger out of cardboard boxes, ducting, any large tubing. Temp sounds kinda borderline even for the plants. Need some ventilation at the roof peak, $50 plastic piece at lowes (which you don't have, I know). Awesome potential though, that space.

When I lived beyond stores and electricity for 5 years, man, I really learned a lot. Esp. how to just get stuff done with whatever was at hand, which, living on a boat was only so much stuff. I can do the wrong thing the wrong way and it'll work. Not a skill in huge demand. Ha!

My hold was FILLED with scrap I'd picked up from Alaska to Seattle. I single-handed to Alaska from Vancouver once. Terrified myself multiple times. Would prefer the open sea safety-wise every time. Never again, but I did it. Oh man, the stories. I was stranded in Prince Rupert for months until I could find someone to go the rest of the way South again with me, I couldn't bring myself to run that coast alone again. Ended up paying my cousin to bus up there and come with me. Lovely lad, most grateful. Not exactly a story of great heroism.

I'd love to read your memoirs.:bravo:
That takes guts, what size boat.
I got struck on Georgian Bay once in a bad storm.
Followed the Chichiman to shore, feken scared the crap out of me.
More balls than brains when I was young.
That's just Georgian Bay , not the feken ocean.
I've got 2 spots to cut in vents if I need.
I'll see if it gets any hotter I'll do that.

Hi @Sobergrower , I'm growing a CBG pheno that reaches about 12-14% CBG. THC and CBD are zero or very close to zero. The CBG high is a potent body high w/ pain relief effects. That's my experience. You can see some pics... click my greenhouse grow in the tropics link in my signature. I may be able to help you locate some CBG seed.

Thanks @cbdhemp808 , I did find a Seed bank online last night but might hit you up with more questions. My son had back surgery a couple years back and I think this might be a better solution than thc when it flairs up. Not to mention my wife for when she needs to focus.

Thanks Bill!!!! This is the next step!

Sounds perfect. What are you using.

That makes me so fekking happy its unreal.

Have a good day everyone.
My favorite way to fish is with my 11 1/2' noodle rod with a float reel sometimes called a palm reel.
Roe bags, worms and Flys or nymphs under a balsa wood float.
6lb test with a 4lb leader.
Fantastic way to fish.
No drag just you and a steelhead with other plans.
It's so much fun.
But I'm going to get out the fly rod.
I'll have to wade into the river to do it though, too many trees along the shore.
River has slowed down enough to fly fish without me washing down stream.
Howie oh my I'm so smitten, I've never bonded with a dog like I have with him.
And everything he does is just so adorable, it fills my heart.
I'm home 24/7 with him so I think that's made the difference.
But he is just such a special boy.:green_heart:

Yeah autos... issues. But they look to be sorting it out. Photos and Clones will be my mainstay, but I was completely seduced by this auto so I got the genetics, 10 seeds. Crappy looking seeds, but autos do make underwhelming seeds, so I hear. Mine are Barney`s farm by way of an old Kootenay connection. God I love that place, miss it.

This weed is a proper 50-50 it sounds like. I`m down for that too, need something when everything else is heavy-ass indica. This is a 420 grow. This grower has his shit tight and is worth a minute of your time. Great photographer too. Man, I`m looking forward to breaking out the DSLR and pôrtrait flashes and backgrounds. Lets hope I get this one off the ground, and have something to share with THC on it someday! There`ll be Fekking Incredible Island Bred Indica growing same time. Delicious, can`t wait.

Having a little companion like howie does wonders for the mental health, little bit of stability in ur life goes a long way, he looks so cool aswell
You are 100% right.
Mid winter I couldn't stand straight let alone walk.
Stacey says I'm getting a dog, she brings home this adorable sweet puppy.
So there I am previously reluctant to leave the couch out playing in the snow.
Chasing him around and laughing my tucas off.
Was such a uplifting change in my life. :cheesygrinsmiley:
Suddenly everything is about the puppy not the pain.
He turned my life around for sure.
Now he loves to sit on my lap and look out the window when I drive.
He doesn't realize he is twice the size he used to be.
I'm going to get in heck if I get caught.
He loves being in Stacey's old store.
He greets everyone at the door and gets so excited tonmeet people.
I could go on forever, I feel like one of those first time parents showing pics of their kid to everyone.
Talk soon.

Stay safe

Ok if that's the genetics I understand giving it a run.
Stinker is a great grower that photo is Stellar.
I've got a 50 year old I phone and a tablet with a 2 pixel camera and no flash.
I haven't won any accolades for my photography. ;)
I look forward to your thought.
Hopefully the autos will be the same as stinkers
I got so much to do I got to get my but in gear.
Howie is up from his nap, gtg.
