oz--these great whites are from clone so are all feminized and have been through many generations so these pheno's were promised to be spot on, and so far they have. how many did you grow? if just one or two that's not fair to bash the lot of em...i think what they do in this environmet will be a very good gauge for what the strain is capable of.

thanks for the reinforcement rekeles...however it's 2000 watts shinin down, both air cooled so these lights are as close as they can be.

hey dont get upset dude i just said i had bad exp with green house white sharks feminised seeds............... i grew 5 great whites and i will never buy from green house again ok np ......Yours are clones from a female plant not seeds as you just said !

I don't think you will have any prob reaching your goal....plenty of watts, good soil, good genes. Just keep the bugs away.

thanks og. however i wish i could take that out of the heading of the journal. that was an arrogant statement and if at the end of this i came out with .5/watt i'd be ecstatic. i thought it'd be a good eye catcher to attract viewers but in retrospect it just sounds stupid.

i have only seem one or two bugs in the area the whole time, but with it getting warmer out i know they're coming. any good preventative ideas that aren't called neem oil with a $70 price tag? i know i got a robocop belt of weapons when they do come, but i'd love to keep em at bay for as long as possible.

im not going to scrog. a net will go over the grow space but im not going to do all the bending and pulling. i'll do my best to keep as much as i can under the net for the first week or two of flowering but that'll be it. there is so much light in there i think a girl in the corner would grow very well...the time for the scrog may not be necessary. and a real scrog would have been put in a while ago and let them grow into it, not just plop it on top and switch the lights(like i was planning). so this is good news..ill be able to observe the un-restricted growth patterns of 2 strains ill have in the oven for a time to come

To prevent pests: Always wash your hands and wear clean clothes. You dont want to bring anything in EVER lol

Neem oil is only expensive if you buy a large amount. You can get the 8floz one for under $10 and it will last you a while. Get a sprayer like the ones you get to spray weeds...kinda like these:

This size neem oil:
Dyna-Gro Pure Neem Oil - 8 Ounces

You just fill it with water and pH it, then add 2 teaspoons of neem oil per gallon of water, and add equal amount of mild soap as neem oil, and your set. Even 1 gallon of the mix will last you a while. For $20-30 for everything is worth it to me.

Got any No Pest Strips (NPS) by Hot Shot, available at Home Depot? Do a search on the name to get opinions both pro and con. I like em, but I don't live in w/ my plants. Spend much time in the room, I bag em up, and redeploy when I leave.

hell the title is what caught my eye!! I am really pulling for ya. It doesn't sound stupid, maybe a little presumptious is all. plan for the worst, shoot for the best is all any of us can do.

TODAY IS D-DAY +42

They have made it thus far, so I suppose I can congratulate my self on a successful veg. one small pat on the back.

Now the real fun begins...for today when they wake up the hps' are going in and we will be on a 12/12 cycle here on out.

I'll snap a photo when they wake up as to have a good gauge of what growth lay ahead the next few weeks. That jump from 4.24 to 5.9 was substantial...I think the jump from 5.24 to 6.9 will be even more grotesque

Fed 10 gallons of flowering combination...

30 tsp--fox farms big bloom
20 tsp--fox farms tiger bloom
6 tsp--fox farms microbe brew
1 tbsp--fox farms open sesame
24 tsp--botanicare cal/mag
24 tsp--botanicare liquid karma
6 tsp--botanicare hydroplex bloom

pretty sure thats it. watered today when they woke up and its looking like next watering will be 12 gallons...so that's a recipe for a 10 gallon resovior. note: if tap water let it sit out for at least 12 hours with an airstone churning it. i like to think mixing in the nutes an hour before watering mixed them up with the airstone. no evidence, but i still like to think it helps. i also keep the airstone going as i water. real soon im going to figure out a way to get the water out of the big container without dipping a pitcher in it. im about 85% there..something with a spray hose connected to a waterpump in the 18gallon tote . i think that'll work. one or more waterings ill be fed up enough to give it a whirl.

can't wait to see what just one week of 12/12 is going to do.

the foxfarms is all their schedule.

the botanicare is just an extra..i looked into liquid karma and everyone raves...rumored to put voodo juice to shame and thus far ive been impressed. don't really have a control group to compare it to but other research has been done and ball don't lie

voodoo and karma...both have something to do with a supernatural effect happening to something...interesting. i wonder if liquid karma was aiming to compete with voodoo or voodoo tried copying liqud karma. i think the similarity in names can't be a coincidence...who was first?

Rudy, I recognized the FF combo.. just not the botanicare part. How did you decide how much of it to add? Also, are you going to use the Beastie Bloomz and the Cha Ching?

label suggests 2 tsp per gallon. i started at 1.5 tsp a gallon and worked it up to the suggested 2 tsp per and for flowering it calls for 2-2.5 tsp per gallon so since the girls havent shown a bit of nute burn up to this point i went a lil extra on the LK.

Ive considered using the FF water soluble Additives but havnt seen anyone else use them.

Im considering using it on my outdoor grow. I wish Fox Farm would supply an Outdoor Grow Schedule! lol
