The grow area is running normally.

i named my grow areas Sally and Sue after a 1977 Jackson Browne song from the album Running on Empty, called Cocaine. The lyrics explain my naming and I find the song more like the experience, than the JJ Cale version.

PH took a little dive since my last check, yesterday.

Adjusted back to 6-6.5.

The plants are looking good and the buds are getting bigger for sure. They are also putting on a fine coating of trichomes.

I just the Phenomenal growth you get with your Tables! You may need to either cut the legs down or flip sooner! 4 solid weeks of stretch didn't help!

You mentioned a few pages back you increased the light to 450/600. Did that mean 3/4 of a 600w, or 450w in one tent, and 600 in the other? I would like to know more about the lights you are using?

Also, trying to wrap my head around your ph. What is the ph of your (high ph) tap water. And when your ph drops and you reset back to 6.0 to 6.5, how far is it dropping? I keep mine between 5.5 and 6.1 in veg, 5.8 being my sweet spot. I do like to raise my sweet spot to 6.1 +/- in flower.

Which journal would I read to see the calcium probs in late flower you mention?

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner. I use a laptop on the internet, so I'm not always on.

The PH has been stable most of the grow but in the last couple of weeks, I've had it drop too low overnight. If it drops below six, I'm adding PH up, and the tap water is over 8.0. If it ends up around 7 at my afternoon check, I will probably let it go. By the morning check it will have dropped and still be in the 6-6.5 range.

I rarely run the lights above 500w out of 600w available. I'm already down to 375w on the MAC and 400w on the PGC next door. They seem to grow fine at 450w and 400-450w is about the equivalent of a 600w hps light. I found the 600w hps light to be about perfect in a 4'x4'.

Happy Fourth of July!

The PH has not been dropping as much since yesterday. If I'm seeing any pattern, it's dropping for a couple of days after a reservoir change and then it becomes pretty stable. It still drops, but slowly enough that high PH tap water on the reservoir top ups and maybe a little PH up sometimes and it never gets out of the 6-6.5 range.

The flowers are still building and the frost is too.

The grow area is running normally.

The plants continue to put on more flower. I'm getting some bleaching on top of some of the buds closest to the light, primarily on the right side.

The continue to drink a lot and the PH is staying in the desired 6-6.5 zone.

Nice and thick and frosty up in there!! Happy Friday to you!!

And sticky too. I've adjusted a few limbs that were leaning into my "working area", and it left my hands sticky and smelly.

The grow area is running normally.

Reservoir change today. Added the recommended amounts of General Hydroponics three part liquid nutes for 17 gallons in Late Bloom. Added a spoonful of epsom salts and 40ml CalMag+. No PH down was needed as the res. measured in the desired 6.0-6.5 range. A small amount of PH up was added this afternoon to get the PH in the upper end of the desired range before lights out.

The flowers are building and still looking good. Watching the bleached spots at the top of some on the right. If necessary, the bleached spots will be cut off. Is there enough time left for the issue to become a problem before harvest?

Question does yours or did yours ever have a mint like smell? I forgot to mention that in my journal today but the past week or so that’s the main smell I get. And not mint like fake mint but real mint and actually more specifically minced mint, it has more of the vegetable mint smell.
