Pterostychus: The Never Ending Story, Now Jack Herer

Maybe a bit of a claw. Since you're in coco it should be easy to make sure it's just getting the barest amount of nitrogen it needs and see if the next set grow straighter.
i fed them last night only bloombooster (0-10-9) an calmag which (contains plenty N)... bloombooster i gave 150% recommended and calmag 100% recommended...

photodump...

thanks Shed...

anyway ive fed her the same solution as yesterday and the same volume ... i also plucked some leafs 8 to be precise ... i am slowly giving her a trim with a few leafs per day to lighten up its overal structure of course the leafs that block light or air go first or leafs that get no light ...
I have two remarks and a conclusion also ...
first, she stopped pouting in the last few hours before lights out, and secondly she is also drinking less but maybe that is due to the leafs i am taking off.
now the pout i have observed a few times before and i came to associate it with stretch i even called it stretchpumping as they always looked better the next morning and throughout the day even if they didnt get fed (so that excludes thirst).
The less drinking gave me the opportunity to remove it, spilling included she produced about 900ml of runoff which is a real lot tbh first time that the dish overflowed from runoff , so 2l in 0.9l out thats a serious drop in waterusage...
Anyway ive tested the runoff and it comes out at 6.4... all this when i am vigilantly pouring 5.8 in ... also the colour was very yellow to orange almost like urine ... indicating high salt content, again ... like urine :ganjamon:
maybe a third remark then the sugarleafs seem to look a bit happier maybe "less is more" after all hehe
so to amend the Ph i plan to water her at 5.6 tomorrow and try to test runoff again ...

People keep telling me less is more, and I may finally start believing them.

Is coco pH neutral?
it should be .... i think its the salt residue pushing Ph up ... but lets wait tomorrow test to draw conclusions hehe ... a dataset of one isnt very trustworthy

And please don't take these comments as advocating that everyone should track it. I was just offering up the perspective you said you couldn't understand....why anyone would track flower days on autos. There are some of us that are weird and like tracking info that others find useless. Ain't it great we can all find different things useful or interesting.
Is it wrong that Im very loose with tracking days etc.
I always check back and have a look at certain points and i occasionally check how far into flower they are but thats when im feeling impatient and an itchy snipper finger.
Im one of those people though who has an awesome memory for things i wanna remember or NEED to remember but everything else just floats off into the distance lol.
Always been a free flowing type of person. My environment and circumstamces have been changing a lot recently its been a case of waiting for autos to finish before flowering photos (also wanna get them back to 100% health before flipping), Electricity blowing in a storm in one shed so Ive HAD to be that way. Like i said I will be looking back when i flip to check how old they are cos i suspect they will be massive by then and im intrigued to see how big they are when they are done.
I can definitely see the benefits of taking your own data on strains etc. But even then its more usefull when taking clones, preserving genetics/pheno hunting things like that. If ya still at the point of flipping through different strains one or two seeds at a time theres things i feel are more important. Terps, THC, bud structure, yield (to be fair timeframe has a part to play in this).
Ive noted strains I love and were easy to grow first then I would worry about flowering times later down the line when I get in a quantity of the strains i love to start breeding.

Bit of a rant but Im lit right now and in the zone :ganjamon:
Hows it going PT? You good my friend?

Like Van said, "please don't take these comments as advocating that everyone should track it." You only note what matters to you! Van is a stats guy who is pheno hunting and making his own crosses. He tracks practically everything you can about a plant's growth :).
