Pterostychus: The Never Ending Story, Now Jack Herer

I wouldn't doubt it. Environment has a lot to do with how they grow and that includes the medium. I would be willing to bet if I sent you cut of something, it would grow somewhat different in your coco with nutes than it would for me in my soil with no nutes.

day 47 from seed ...

i am waiting to count the days with pistils as 1 preflower doesnt mean she is in flower ....
i will notice the more random growth and whirly appearance on the growtops and soon there after more pistils will show so thats when i will start counting days of flower :)

i almost forgot to mention that ive set the LED to full strength and it bumped the temp up to 24°C which is right on the sweetspot ... lets see how she fares, she was fed again today .... i will watch out for the stretch now :ganjamon: lets hope the sidebranches develop into nice sidecolas

day 48 from seed day 1 with pistils ...

yes you read correct ..today i count as day one as today i found a lot more pistils showing also in the growtips so she definately is in flower now ...
another proof that supports my decision is the fact that she started to wilt in the hours before lights out which to me is indicative as signs of stretch i come to call it stretchpumping as i have observed it in every plant ive grown so far ... the evening wilt will stop as stretch stops .... in the beginning i read this as underwatering but in soil it actually is a false sign and has the potential to make it easier to overwater whilst in cocos it just doesnt matter really ...
anyway here are some pics ive tried to do a close up of the pistils in the growtip but im afraid it turned out rather blurry

day 51 from seed, day 4 with pistils ...

she seems to focus on the side nodes they grow like it has no name the main top however seems to take its time ... maybe its my paranoia ... its really funny

anyway she got a feed last night 2.5ml/l basenutes +1 ml/l powerroots + 0.5ml/l calmag ( it has quiet a bit of N so i have to be carefull ....

day 52 from seed 5 with pistils

she's starting to look more and more like a bush by the day ... i like the development on the side shoots.
I'm feeding 1l daily now so i am starting to get runoff ... her leafs are still looking healthy and green without tipburn so ill push up the base nutes to 3ml/l from 2.5ml/l
any thoughts?
