i think that is a wise thing to do .... i think its also better to lower base nutes to 1.5:1000 instead of the 2:1000 i give now as it ads quiet a bit of PK the manual says " first ad 1ml/l booster and then add base nutrients untill desired EC, but since i dont have that .... better safe then sorry ...would be a shame to mess them up at this stage hehSince you're feeding often I'd give a longer transition. Maybe 2 @ ½ strength and then 3/4 and then full. Won't be that long before you're full strength anyway.
it can also serve as a good extractor of air out of tentSup Pt.... Look and you shall find right???? It took me a while but I found ya... I invested in a better quality fan for my downstairs tent. Its so quiet, I hear the fan on my light over the fan with the carbon filter. In this context the carbon filter is used to filter the air only so yes smell. Carbon is also used in drinking water systems to remove odors and neutralize chlorine. Its also great in fish tank filtration. As pt suggested though, the negative is the extra noise. No good on a stealthy grow. A variable speed drive can help to drop the noise back a few decibel's.
