Pterostychus: The Never Ending Story, Now Jack Herer

I have a question shall i add full strength bloombooster after last nights half strength ...? or shall i wait and see how they take the transition .... ? it ads tons of PK in just 1:1000 concentration it has like 0-9-10 and also enzymes, sugars and bloomstimulators whatever that may be

Since you're feeding often I'd give a longer transition. Maybe 2 @ ½ strength and then 3/4 and then full. Won't be that long before you're full strength anyway.
i think that is a wise thing to do .... i think its also better to lower base nutes to 1.5:1000 instead of the 2:1000 i give now as it ads quiet a bit of PK the manual says " first ad 1ml/l booster and then add base nutrients untill desired EC, but since i dont have that .... better safe then sorry ...would be a shame to mess them up at this stage heh ;)

and since im agile like a bull in a glasspipe shop i managed to crack one shoot ... its still attached but dangles vertically down lol ... so i taped one leafe to the tent so the twig stays up lol ... lets hope it heals ... also ... i know the combo could be hung tighter but its just so hard to reach over that plant one hand has the combo and the other tries to fasten the belts lol ...

well the smell is gone and the humidity dropped 15% .... but now i have a very noisy fan instead ... why is this never easy ... grrr .... and the airtube is detaching from the fan ... stupid lowsy duct tape ... but anyway today i fed them 2 liter each with 3:2000 (1.5ml/l) basenutes and 3:4000 (0.75ml/l) bloombooster, thats respectively 50% and 75% of recommended

yes and i will properly set it up after this grow .... its just so hard to reach that far without hurting the plants which i did ... and i am aware that this ducttape wont hold ... infact i expect the duct to have come loose in the morning ... and btw how would that work that duct isnt fitting the flange ... although both fan and airduct claim to be 125 in size ...

Sup Pt.... Look and you shall find right???? It took me a while but I found ya... So question for ya bud, well and others who it applies to, Do you use the carbon filter for smell only, or is it needed for other things....????? Green Days, and Good work all around man... I have not caught up all the way, not gonna.... I read good and fast, ..,,...,,,with lots of pictures LOL

In this context the carbon filter is used to filter the air only so yes smell. Carbon is also used in drinking water systems to remove odors and neutralize chlorine. Its also great in fish tank filtration. As pt suggested though, the negative is the extra noise. No good on a stealthy grow. A variable speed drive can help to drop the noise back a few decibel's.

it can also serve as a good extractor of air out of tent

I invested in a better quality fan for my downstairs tent. Its so quiet, I hear the fan on my light over the fan with the carbon filter.

My recommendation to anyone investing in a fan and filter and can afford a little more......invest in a good fan. Filters are kind of just that.....filters. I checked a ton of reviews on entry level filters to top end filters and there doesn't seem to be enough reason for me to spend more money on a filter that will need to be replaced in about the same time period. By most accounts, carbon filters are going to get you about a years run time if you are running it constantly. You can double that time if you have a reversible flange on the filter. Spend that extra money on a better fan.

The fit between the fan and filter can be a pain the arse. I had to line the inside of my fan with some duct tape and cotton pads. Made the fit tighter and allowed me to seal it nicely with some of that foil tape. Just gotta get creative with it.

fixed the airduct ... its fitting better now yesterday i probably was a bit "distracted" when i installed it ... and about the noise its not that noisy but enough to be unsettling when i stand at my front door and i hear like a gasburner is working ;) at night i must add during day its not getting above ambient outside
