Pterostychus: The Never Ending Story, Now Jack Herer

day 46 from seed
day 5 since first pistils

i am struggling with humidity when i walked in the tent just then it was at 80% thats a bit to much i reckon ideal would be 60% MAX

both girls are doing great first up Sparkle the heavy Lime scented one ...

they both went to work pushing out pistils i hope they will keep this up for a good while as more pistils = more bud

Twinkle is not as pronounced in terms of aromas she also looks a bit more indica but they are both growing equal imo

last i have some canopy shots ... i know i could do better on sparkle in the back but unfortunately i cant reach there to place another bamboo to stretch the scrog in complete square ...

enjoy and please lurkers and regulars alike dont hold back if you have questions, remarks ... gimme some work, i am good in bugs ... my plants arent giving me enough work ... ;)

You are not alone there...most people cant make sense of it, it makes its own rules! Those plants are looking great but what do you think is causing the lower fan leaves to go a light yellow with the browning happening at the tip, I often have similar happen to mine just coming into flower or at the start of flowering and it progresses up the plant....nitrogen maybe? I think I may be swithing to bloom nutes too soon.

ah yea that i kinda brutalized them with the feeds they get wet buried in medium shaken dry , they had a beating tbh ... on the otherside it is probably a bit of natural ageing it are always gonna be the first fanleaves that die and shrivel first .... dont always asume they are low in N, ive made that mistake in the past and basically made it worse (high N can block P and K i learnt ), i owuldnt switch to bloom nutes before stretch is over it usually boils down to just feed bloom in last 6 weeks of flower for photos and not untill after stretch for sure on autos

Ya pretty sure I am switching too soon... when leaves go too dark green I panic about getting N toxicity so switch to bloom instead of cutting back ppm!! I have never done photos...I need a better dehumidifier, I struggle to keep humidity down during lights off as it is:confused: Gonna stick with grow nutes for longer this time round.....what kind of ppm do you use at the end of veg stage?

thats why coco must be watered with 10-20% runoff ... to wash out excess salts and replace the water in the medium with fresh solution .... oh and remove runoff letting the girls stand in still water is asking for problems ... dont be lazy as i was in the beginning ;) there is no cutting corners when growing ganj

day 47/6 from seed/from 1st pistils

today when i walked in i was greeted by a huge jungle ... literally in every way ...a wall of green ... rather warm at 23.5°C and steaming humidity at 85% ... and an occasional bug (gnat went splat) ... so after i waisted the bug i put on my Edward Pincer-hand - hat (5%sweat and 95% tinfoil) and tucked some shoots under where possible and supercropping where no tucking could apply ... they are so lush and green now it is getting hard where one plant stops and the other starts , the are even pushing up the scrog net, its bulging up i just noticed hehe

anyway ive marked pics with S and T to keep them apart

and sorry PA for stealing your bold m.o. ;)
