Flowering Day 61

Won't be long until the next one will be coming down. There are 3 candidates. The COP is close but she just keeps shooting out new little growths on the buds. Just when you think she's done she throws out a load of white hairs then swells a little more. The next candidate is the Double Black. She's looking pretty good, has mostly cloudy trichs and smells like diesel. She has a few white hairs left but not many. The 3rd candidate is the Darkstar Kush. She has amber in a few places, has no white hairs left up top and hasn't appeared to have swelled much in the last few days. I may do the Darkstar tonight then do the Double Black tomorrow night. I'll have Christmas Day off (I know, lazy right) and chop her on Boxing Day. By then some more may be getting ready to come down. Happy growing and a merry Christmas to all

Also my new Bovida packs turned up yesterday, just in time for the GG x WW to go in the jar. I,checked her this morning and she is nearly dry. Maybe a couple days left. I weighed her and she came to 41g. She still has some weight to lose with the last part of the drying process but it looks good. Have some more pics....

Crazy how much the COP and the C+2.0 look alike. The critical really comes out! Excited to see what you take down next Prof! I’ll harvest vicariously through you until my little EM is ready to come down. I think she’s still got a few weeks left and I’m hoping she really fattens up! I may leave her go more amber for a really heavy couchlock med and then turn them into capsules!

Yeah, I remember that my Critical Cheese Auto has a similar structure and leaf shape. They seem to have a lighter green natural colour to the leaves and stems. I don't think that I would have gotten purple tops had I not had cold temps at night. Hope the citrus taste is there with this one. I think that it will be. Merry Christmas Dutch

Actually my critical+2.0 girls have purple in their stems already. Just slight veining but I can tell it’s gentics. The friend who I got the cuttings from his 3 big plants all show purple as well so I think it’s in the critical+ genetics!

I’ll try to get some pictures of my stems today when I get them out for training

Darkstar's downfall has begun! It is day 62 and I've decided she is ready. Not the prettiest of the bunch and I don't think she'll be a great yielder compared to the others that are a similar size but she has the densest nugs so far. They're like Little Rock's. She smells awesome as well. Like lavender Perfume. She was also the tallest of the 10 and has much more solid buds lower down on the stems. Even the ones that didn't get sufficient light are quite dense and look nice. Here she is before i chopped her. I've not quite finished trimming yet because of the chaos of Christmas but I'll post the finished pics shortly

Did it! Though I didn't do quite as good a trim on her. I'll wait til she's dry then pick the remaining bit off. Not quite sure what to make of this one. She's kind of pretty but at the same time not really. I've learnt from experience though to never judge a book so to speak. She's adding to the final result though and that's what matters. This grow isn't about any one plant but all as a group. My house is starting to fill up with drying racks and hanging plant though lol. Merry Christmas all

Hey 420! Hope you've all had a great Christmas. Back to business for me! I've decided to pull the Double Black today and then pull COP tomorrow. I'll then probably be pulling Blueberry OG, DJ's Gold, Cheese Dog Haze, Skywalker Kush and finally Lemon OG Kush in that order. That'll take me up to the new year then it's all over! I didn't look at them yesterday and this morning I went in and they look mostly ready to come down. Double Black and Blueberry OG look amazing! There buds are so sparkly and goey looking. Well enough from me, here's what I've been up to this morning.

Double Black has been pulled from the tent! She looks stunning! And the smell that's coming from her is crazy! If I had never grown and smoked many different strains and somebody told me that this was a diesel strain I would have believed them. It's really gassy. She is lovely to look at and has really good growth on all of her. Buds are solid and have plenty of amber trichs. Looking forward to seeing her fully dried out. I've had my eye on this one as a possible NOTM contender. Well here she is out of the tent and going into darkness for 12 hours. I'll be chopping her later this evening

Possibly but I wonder just how much bigger the top buds would actually increase in size. I don't mind a little bit of fluff, comes in handy for hash. Sometimes I just throw all the fluff and smaller buds in the same jar and save it for emergencies, like during the heatwave earlier this year when I lost all my plants. I did 10 plants and they all suffered from heat stress with temps close to 40C on some days. I got about 70g of tasteless rubbish. That fluff looked very appealing after that lol

I'd agree with you there joe. I can see which one won't have much swell to them. The Blue OG is solid but not all that big and I think it similar with the DJ's. Some of them looked great though. The Criticals and lemon OG are pretty impressive for 200w.

Another one bites the dust! I love this one, a lot of the attention was on the Critical+ And a few of the other more impressive ones but this baby is really something. She looks mighty fine and ticks my boxes. Decent yield, stench, fast, purple and last but not least she's indica so I'm sure she'll be great as a night time smoke. By my count that's 4 down and 6 to go. Happy growing everybody

The Gorilla Glue x White Widow has been jarred and her final weight is 29g. It's a little bit under what I was hoping for but that's with the fluff removed and the little bit I took for a sample. The combined weight before I removed the fluffy stuff and the bit I smoked was 31g. She is the second smallest out of the 4 that I've taken so far with the Darkstar being the smallest. Hopefully some of the others will be a bit better than this one but I know that there is a good chance that some may be smaller like the Blue OG and Cheese Dog. It's exciting stuff all this! I like how both the blue Kush strains have gone a different shade next to each other. The DJ's is more red to my eyes and the Blue OG is more blue. Don't know what you lot can see though lol. They both have a strong smell with the DJ's being way more on the Kush side of things. She smells really dank. The blue OG is a lot fruitier.
