Thank you Shed. I should consider myself lucky as most people my age don't have grandparents. Grandma is on her own now though. 60 years is a long time to be with someone then all of a sudden be you're on your own.I'm sorry to hear about your Grandfather Professor.to the older generation...not many left.
On the other hand, I'm glad to see new seeds ready for takeoff, the 7 rockets look great, the salad has been et, the moms are growing, and the purple plant looks amazing! Did I miss anything?
The seeds are still to break ground. The rockets will be hitting the dome shortly. The salad tastes good. And the purple thing is ready for the jar! You may have seen over in carcass's thread that I revealed the final dry weight.....8g lol. Hardly surprising but some fine looking smoke.

The Crystal Meth....
Well, that was the easiest and possibly smallest harvest ive ever completed. She's dry now and ready for the jar....
Total weight....10g
Usable buds....8g
Flarf....2g
This plant was barely cared for and didn't do too bad considering. There was no room for her anywhere other than in the corner next to the Purple Punch which was partially shaded. I have learnt something interesting about this strain and that is she has excellent stealth potential. She doesn't smell like weed at all really and I think I could get away with growing this one on a window sill or in the garden without anyone being any the wiser. Next spring I may stick one in the outside garden and see what nature does with her. Despite this one being small the cm has the potential to get quite big and It could be good to have some of these running alongside my actual grows for an extra bit of bud. She smells woody but it's subtle. There is also a sweetness to it but again it doesn't jump out at you. It smells just like the others I grew out before so it seems that the strain is consistent. Anyway. I'll give the nugs a couple weeks jar time then I'll drop a smoke report. I'll get some better pic soon soon as well....

Veg Cupboard Update....
Happy Halloween 420! It won't be long before I have kids knocking at my door looking for sugar so I thought I'd get a couple updates out of the way now. Mrs.F has been out all day with both of the kids so I've been getting as much done in the grow room as possible. Waterings are done and I've had a deep clean even going as far to steam mop the floor! The grow room looks immaculate....she's gonna go mental when she sees the rest of the house though. I have an hour and a half left. So it's time for an update! I really wanted to clone these today but I've ran out of time. The vacuuming is gonna take half an hour alone so we'll try cloning tomorrow lol. All the mothers are looking great and are ready to be cut back though I'm going to be more gentle this time. I'm still having flashbacks of Mini VG. These are now in larger pots so they'll drown much easier. I do have a little problem though and that is space. It'll all be dandy again in a couple weeks when the 7 plants grow finishes up and we get the little tent back again. Clones don't need a lot of light but will they be ok in the shade? I could put the seedlings on top of the cloner temporarily but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Anyway, here's some pics. I've only got an hour now because I got distracted whilst writing this post....

Beatiful poorly named harvest! Larf counts (I read that the THC content of larf barely differs from the tops) so it's 10g! And it must be special weed since the buds hover half an inch over the stolen cafeteria tray:
Seeing the great growth on your mothers after the scalping you gave them makes me think I should do the same to mine. Especially since I won't be needing cuttings for a many many months.

Lol! I hadn't noticed the David Blaine buds! They are very energetic and uplifting though so....
The scalping method of keeping plants short does indeed work however as I have demonstrated you can go too far. I'd recommend doing it when the pot is half dry so that the plants have some water but not too much. Then by the time they've finished the pot they should be large enough to handle another watering. I let the pot dry out, then I trimmed them, then I watered them. 4 of them were strong enough to handle it but Mini VG was not. I can't be certain that there wasn't something's else wrong with her before the trim though as she looked a little off. It was probably me though
Thank you for the advice. And I probably won't be quite as heavy-handed either.

The "7 Horcruxes" Grow Update....
Well there is visible signs of plants coming to the end now. Glueberry is showing some fade and is going pale like when you do a pre-harvest flush. No flushing going on in here though. All are showing some slight tip burn so what that tells me is that they would like me to slow up on the nutrients. I'll drop down to 1200ppm and see how that plays out. While the majority are beginning to finish up the Purple Moby and the Blackberry OG are still swelling like crazy. I can't believe how chunky their mains are. Even their lowers are pretty big. They both have nugs comparable to cola cans though they're still a little squidgy. Not one of them has a bad or boring smell and all are different to the last. I'll be happy when this grow has finished up as the lights are starting to make a crackling sound. I don't have anything to replace them with at the moment so I'm going to keep an eye on them. I won't need them for a while after this grow so I'll probably retire them after this one. Here we are today on Halloween....

I wish my camera wasn't broken....and that I hadn't dropped the bud and covered it in hair....

Hey 420. I've been spending....
I'm back on the crop! I'd like to finish the current plants using the MasterBlend but it's a lot more hassle. The temptation to tare open that bag is almost unbearable lol. Well, that should be me sorted for nutes all next year.
Also my new seeds have arrived....
I'm really looking forward to dropping these babies. The temptations is almost....you get the picture
And lastly some freebies. Starcake is the one I want to see in my garden. It's finding time for it though....watch this space!....
I'm looking forward to trying the Mega Crop ... possibly with RealGrowers Recharge if I do another soil grow next round.
I'm definitely getting great results with coco ... so I'm still undecided.

You can use the MegaCrop with coco. I'm about to swap to MegaCrop with my Purple Punch in DWC to see if I can stop frying her.
I don't have any experience with pollinating at the moment so can't advise you on that one but Shed and Penny will know the score. Hey 420! I woke up this morning and thought I'd go and check on the Hashplant D's. None had sprouted so I went and had my morning coffee and began contemplating why I had to eat so many sweets last night. After an uncomfortable hour or so I went back in to check to see if the Fat Purple has decided to reveal its gender. Still nothing but I noticed that 9 of the 10 seeds had sprouted! Just the one in the centre left. Pretty good start I'd say....
