Hey 420.
Flowering day 16 and all is good in the hood. In fact it's better than good and all of these plants are growing very nicely indeed. I have made a couple errors as well but they forgave me it would seem. The errors came in the form of under-watering. I opened the tent last week and before me were several limp plants. They literally collapsed in a dramatic heap and looked pretty poor. I immediately gave them a double dosage of a watering which is 20 litres and closed the tent door. At this point I should mention that I have decided to bottom feed these plants as they drink too fast for the tiny chef hats to cope with. I thought that 1 gallons could be fun to grow with but they need watering every 2 days at the moment and we don't even have any flowers yet. So I decided to treat them like I do with coco and just dump an entire watering cans worth of water at their feet and let them drink at their own pace. It is working very well apparently as these plants are looking great. Anyway, I went back to the tent to see the damage and to my surprise, they were all back up and looking good again. I lost a few of those mega leaves but that's what they're for right?....
Here are the Purple Urkle's from WSE. These 4 are all growing nicely and the runtiest is now the tallest. They are all beginning to push flowers now as well....
The Orange Cane's are interesting and they didn't stretch quite as much as I thought they might. That is a good thing....
The Double D's did stretch as much as I thought it would and was super-cropped to allow the others to catch up a little. I snapped one of her branches badly but the next day it was right back up....
So that was the indoor plants. Now I will show you what is going on outdoors. The truth is, not a lot. The Afghan Landrace won't amount to much but it is pretty. I think we could get some flavoursome hash from her if she doesn't go mouldy over the next couple of weeks....
The bag seed plants in the 10 gallon pot will definitely not make it. They are fairly tropical looking, slow growing and are taking a battering in the winds. I'll just leave them until the end, whatever and whenever that may be....
So, that brings us to the final Double D's. Now this one is doing great and we will see something from her in the next couple of weeks. This is looking to be my first successful outdoor plant and there is no way I would have thought that this one would have survived the weather but there's not a mark on her.....
So that's sort of it. Hope everyone is well and having fun.
Happy growing everyone.
