Thanks guys. Just about to get to it. But first, a quick motivational go on the vapori..........

monster harvest prof. well done. :)

When I finally had to replace the woofers because the rubber edge had decayed

I still have them by the way, tucked in storage in the garage.

they can be refoamed and reglued.

we did it all the time in the production company. i've fixed 30inch base bin woofers.
small speakers are easier to do. there is a massive market for classic audio. i sold an hk system a few years ago for about 3 times it's ticket worth when new.

there's a couple audio guys local who buy everything that show up on kijiji now. they'll fix speakers or amps then resell for piles more.

Inferno? Heaven? Seems like Prof. has the best of both sides :passitleft:
Thanks TC. The first two are down and drying. Now there we have to choose what to run next.

Harvest Update

Hey 420. The first two plants have been chopped and are currently drying on the rack. I didn't get to do a bud wash last night but it's not too late. I will give them a quick dunk when the kids have gone to bed.
It was a pretty good evening and wasn't too arduous. It took about 5 hours to do in total which isn't bad at all. I've had worse lol. The Big Bomb was a dream to trim up and didn't take too long. The Bubba's Breath on the other hand was a complete pain and was as tricky and fiddly as I thought she would be. I think it was worth it though as she smells fantastic.

Big Bomb.

The Big Bomb was the first to get the chop and she came down nice and easily. The flowers are tight and resinous with a beautiful dark colouration. It's a very nice plant and should keep the family happy for a little while at least. The yield looks about right from where I'm standing though I obviously won't know exactly what it is until she's dry but I would say that it is around 6oz.
I found a few aphids inside the plant but nothing to worry about. Here are some pics from the chop....

Bubba's Breath.

Where do I even begin lol. What a nightmare! This plant wasn't quite as easy to trim up as the Big Bomb. She was as dense as she looked and I'm really surprised by the fact that she didn't go mouldy. There was no room underneath her leaves for light or airflow yet there was still plenty of growth in there. With a decent and patient veg period this plant would be a monster. I'm not kidding. She had some crazy sized stacks which somehow grew in darkness lol. Also there were parts of her which I couldn't tell if we're flowers or dozens of leaves compressed together.
The frost though. Oh my the frost. From the pics it looks like the Big Bomb is clearly the frostiest plant however, the snips say otherwise. It's like a different kind of trichome layering and it feels different to the touch. It is slick under your fingertips for a second before becoming like super glue and cementing your hand together. The smell is my favourite thing about her and is also the thing which reassures me that she is worth the effort. It is like a rubber smell but not like a chemmy burnt rubber. This smells like armbands in a swimming pool on a hot day. That kind of rubber....

And here we have 2 large drying wracks. Big Bomb on the left and Bubba on the right....

And of course....

And a sneak peek....

Happy Growing Everyone!

Actually might have been what I did. It was about 30 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

A thought just occurred to me...you should write strain reviews for seed companies! ;)

Congrats on the harvest, Prof! I'll miss seeing these 2 plants in your photos but I'm sure the Orange Cane and Melon Gum will pick up the slack before too long.

Nice shoes, by the way. :battingeyelashes:

Nice harvest, Professor.

I'd volunteer to clean those scissors for you! :Rasta:

Make 'em look like brand new.

It's hard not to get attached to the plants. Well, most of them at least. Some I can't wait to see the back of lol. Those two were nice though.
The Orange Cane, Melon Gum and the Northern Lights X Skunk are all starting to hit that pretty stage. Here is a fly by phone pic of the OC. Tony the Tiger is worried about his job....

Lol, I bet you would. I scrapped that and covered it in some ground up herb. Then I vaped it at 2am in the desktop. It was delicious but I kept waking up the missus as it made me do those silly coughs where it feels like air is coming out between your eyes.

Flowering Day 35

Hey 420. We have our first update since the harvest of the first two plants. It does feel a little strange not having those around anymore but I always get that feeling no matter how many plants are grown.
All three of these seem to be growing very well and there are minimal signs of stress....

Orange Cane.

My hands down favourite for several reasons. She's beautiful, smells great, is the largest and potentially the highest yielder. She has a good pace as well and I don't think that she will make it to week ten. I don't think any of these three will really....

Northern Lights X Skunk.

This is the only one which I have any real concern for at the moment. She drinks surprisingly slow and looks a bit like there is some fox-tailing appearing in places. I might just be being picky but I've made a mental note (and now a written one) of it....

Melon Gum.

I was a little mean about this one at the beginning and said that the breeder was probably being a little generous with the description concerning this strains growth. I have changed my mind and do think that this one would do very well in a hydro setup with no vegetative growth. She's stocky but covered in decent lowers which have reached the light. Also she might just have the best smell. I'm not quite decided yet but it is very candy and sweet....

Nice collection, Professor! :Rasta:
Thanks GDB, but you should see the rest.
I will show you them all tomorrow.
Orange Cane FTW! That one sure does look nice!
You can’t go wrong with Slurricane crosses, most of the ones I’ve seen online have been pretty stunning!
Cheers N. She's seems to be keeping up with the expectations so far. I have another vegging right now which already looks very different to this one.
I can't wait to pop some more but as you will see tomorrow, I should probably hold fire for now.
