I saw something the other day that I'm surprised I never thought of. Using a clothes iron and parchment paper to press kief into oil. I might give that a try; I've got a few film cannisters of kief laying around.

No, but if I get me another chimpulus check, I was thinking of looking into buying the apparatus to make some. I could use that press for my garage anyway.

It's truly a great way to use up sugar trim or buds. IMO it is the best way to get flavors out too. I bought a 3x5 plate kit from dab press a sponsor here for 209$ on the Zon. Shitty 6 ton table top press from harbor freight. Don't buy that MF, it's a piece of crap. Get the 12 or 20 ton model. Hit me up if you get one I'll walk you through it

Does it have a strong smell when you press it? I'm worrying about that with the iron.

All Harber Frayt stuff is crap.

Not really. I press bud at 190 degrees usually. Dry sift keef around 160 for couple minutes. Really easy. Sift you need bag's. They are cheap

IMO it is Way better for your lungs. Couple hits from my banger bowl and I'm done. Like a whole blunt in couple pulls.

I should be more worried about Chimpwoman seeing me with a clothes iron than the smell. She'll come running up with seven baskets of clothes for me to do 
I cut a fart the other night that would have put a skunk on his back in convulsions when she was sitting there I kept looking at her to see if she'd quit watching TV and look around but she didn't flinch. That flat top "banger bowl" was 15$ at local head shed. That and a small torch is needed. I use cheap butane kitchen torch another 15$

Well, here's an update for what I've been doing lately; sorry it's been a while.
Chemdawg D BX3 mother search - took clones from most of them and put them under my t5s, but don't really like any of them that much:
If this Ghost Train Haze STS selfing works, I'm gonna try to find a good Chem cut and do the same:
The treated plant has plenty male flowers:
But even though I pick it up and hit their tops together every night, I don't see seeds forming on the female:
My Killer A5 Haze plants are close to chop. Here's a bud on the plant that looks like the one you have, Graytail:
Here's a DrG looking bud (like the other two plants I have in my daytime tent; I'll get pics of those up tomorrow):
Here's one of my favorites (the other one is in the daytime tent, too):
Should have picked the dead shade leaves off.....

Other two DrG-like Killer A5 Haze plants (the second plant is in a 2 gallon pot and about five feet tall):
Both are above the light. Here's one of the Killer A5 Haze plants that I like. It's hard to get a pic of because it grew above the light, too:
It's about as thick as a coffee can, even though it looks kind of wispy
The buds don't look bad either:

I just repotted these a few days ago; Gorilla Glue #4, Mendocino Chanel Kush, Connie Chung, Lemon Skunk, Zombie Death Fuck, and one small Boss Hogg plant that managed to survive:
They're starting to green back up.

I think I'll try to tie the branches down on this Carnival plant. I've already got a clone going so I can put it in bloom as soon as it gets big enough:
Besides the eleven reveg plants I have going, that's about it.....

In the true spirit of Christmas, I decided to put up a smaller Christmas tree this year. It look like there's more presents than there really are that way, which makes me look a lot more generous than I really am! 
Pro tip I discovered- having a good old discussion about politics always results in Xmas savings.

More Xmas savings; cut up that fruitcake you got last year into gift size pieces, wrap 'em up, and give those away. Just don't give one to the person that gave you the fruitcake. He deserves to open up a gob of half rotted Limburger cheese for giving away fruitcakes for Christmas last year!

Not seeing in-laws helps you to like them longer. If you want to like them for a long time, try not to see them at all if possible!
