PotChimp's Side Projects

Yeah bud I should have mentioned I was asking you lol. Your thinner leaved pheno looked fairly similar to mine. I did not try it but almost all good reviews from people that tried it. You may have just gotten two phenos that did not vibe well with you.
I'm sure your right. Was just something about hammer just didn't gel well with me. I've seen so many people say same thing as you about it. Might have not been fairly judged at the time because I had some special to me stuff going along side of it

As long as it's got hair on its a$$; the rest don't count! :lot-o-toke:
Speaking of which, the second run of this Chemdawg D BX3 mother I kept doesn't. Not a follicle. :( What I'm gonna do is try this last plant I have growing but I doubt I'm gonna have any better luck with it. My best bet is to run the other cut of Chem D I bred out three times for a mother (Chemdog D, version 1.1), and at the same time I'll run seeds from the first Chemdawg D BX3 breeding I did to get the father. That's gonna be the grow after this next one.

I'll clean the glass on this tube reflector tomorrow, but I'm running a Phantom 250w-400w switchable MH/HPS ballast set to 250 with a MH bulb (2' x 3' coverage area):

Sucks how the bulb sets to one side instead of in the middle, but it's plenty bright in there so it shouldn't be a problem. I had to take the 6" to 4" reducer off the end and stop pulling air through the tube because I need heat in there. It was 61 degrees F, and I got it up to 68 by doing that.

Yikes turned the flash down too low! :jawdropper:
I'm chopping this Mendocino Purple Kush and the one behind it tomorrow (you can't see the one behind because it's bent over):

It's good and ready:

This one will be too, in four or five days:

This is the best color I've gotten out of any MPK yet:

Got a few of these Apollo 13 f2s growing:

Chocolope:

As far as growing goes, I'm keeping up with both my lungs these days! :thumb:

I got a new years email from that Chinese outfit I got my boards from, and they're selling 600W spider setups like that for $550 + $130 shipping ... :bongrip: They have a 480W for $380+.

I just got done picking the hair off that Chocolope and cleaning my camera lens!
Edit of post, Thought I was on another journal Sorry

They are supposed to be amazing. Van seems to really like his and everyone else I have seen with them does as well. I am a cheap Yeti and cannot bring myself to spend that much on a light. The money I spent on my DIY boards was more than I cared to spend, but my yields definitely went up after putting them in the tent. I would like to build another 3-4 fixtures but I do not have the money to spare right now.

I do think if you end up getting yourself into some new LEDs you will really like them. Less heat, more light, better yields. They are just spendy up front.

But no bulb replacements, and no burnt-out blurples either. They'll last longer than you'll want to use them. 50,000 hours? :laughtwo: It's been a couple years since HLG introduced the first ones, and I've yet to hear of a failure.

That $380 turns into $500 once you add shipping ... A buck a watt roughly. :bongrip:
