PotChimp's Side Projects

I'm gonna get that damn macro setting to work with this lens if it's the last thing I do :high-five: even if I gotta read the instruction booklet to do it, by God!
They gave me a bible with my camera. 200 page? I still ain't looked.. Scary in there..

Plants look great....

I think Chimp found the proper setting. This image is drool worthy.

I can use the macro setting on the camera, but I can't do automatic adjustments (fine focus, color, brightness, etc.) with the PC software that came with it until I find a way to get the camera to recognize that the lens is different than the one it came with (if the camera even can). I've got a magnifying camera that takes macro close ups and plugs in to my PC; maybe I can download an image onto my screen and just take a pic of the screen with my camera.....

Apollo 13 f2 clone (two different plants from same mother):

Two Apollo 13 f2 plants from seed (branch on second plant):

Mendocino Purple Kush grown under a 600w HPS:

Nevil's Haze:

Monster (showing color but yellowing up big time):

Is it hard keeping the Nevils Haze in control height wise ? That is a nice looking cola how much longer does she have

Today's the 10th week of 12/12 exactly. It's one of the more tame Haze dominant strains I've done, but I wouldn't let it get too tall before you put it into bloom. I can't remember how long the mother plant to this took, but the breeder's time is 16 weeks and 2-3 weeks earlier for clones of it. Probably 2-3 weeks yet is my guess.
I have a Nevil's Haze clone I'm going to put into bloom as soon as I chop another plant. I'll measure the height, put that number on the plant tag, and then record the height at chop. I've been wondering myself.

Thanks Chimp Mayself and 10 or 11 others so far is going to be doing a group grow where we all grow Nevils Haze at the same time it will start next September. There are a few of us but a couple of the others are Duggan, Ilikeensticky, Dankman_420 , Pennywise etc. stop by my journal some time we have been talking about it over there. Thanks for the info

Ahh, the holiday memories of a young chimp..... :battingeyelashes:
Ol' Dad with a beer in his hand all sentimental (not until at least the third one though) sitting there in his work shirt name above the pocket little white oval and all watching X-mas movies with the kids. He knew we caught on to his one trick; he'd wait until we got all sappy with tears in our eyes when the Grinchizz heart got bigger or the misfitt toyz got rescued he'd say "Oh doesn't that just give you a warm feeling deep down inside?", then he'd fart (hard too; surprised he didn't $hit his drawers) and say something like "Hmmmm. Might'a been something else; now my underwear's warm!", or "It's outside now! Ho, ho, ho!" but after the first few years of it we were up and ready to run so we kept looking back at him when that part came up :cheesygrinsmiley: He decided to wait until our guard was down and right when the Grinnch picked up the sled full of toys he cut a fart then (hard too, and again, surprised he didn't $hit his drawers) and said real quick "Whoa! That was heavy!"
Man, Dad farts stunk when I was a young chimp :cough: like something crawled up his a$$ and died (I'm guessing it was his sense of hope after he had us). :D

Happy Holidays everybody!
:420:

I think I'm gonna pull this Mendocino Purple Kush plant tomorrow. It's glistening :thumb:

These other two clone plants of it are getting close, too:

Man, making compost tea out of that chicken $hit worked pretty good. I'll be making it every couple weeks from now on. It's keeping these Apollo 13 f2 plants greener through bloom:

Tikal blunt followed by a Ghost Train Haze #1 blunt and this chimp is :smokin:

Those are my favorite kind of Eves, too! :thumb:
So far, no dumbfuggery 'round here, and there aren't many hours left. :blunt:

Cheers and Merry Christmas and stuff!
