It does better than a 400w HPS definitely. But I was hoping it would be like the dude at the hydro store said (produce more like a 600w HPS).

I read my way all over the net and back again, and a whole lot of people have said a whole lot of stuff about CMH. Add it all up and it’s about as clear as mud. Honestly, what you’re doing is the most informative out of anything I’ve seen out there- so thanks for being the guinea chimp....uhhh.... chimpy pig.

Speaking of not tent friendly, the next possible upgrade I'm considering is a 600w Aye Hoard-a-lucks CHPS (ceramic high pressure sodium). I was told that you can't air cool the bulb, so it would have to be an open reflector with a lot of airflow and definitely I'd be going with a bigger tent; at least a 4' x 4'. I'd probably be better off going with a 5' x 5' because of the heat problems I've had in the past.
I think I have a GTH#1 blooming in both my 600w HPS and 315w CMH tents, so I may be able to do a side by side comparison of those, too.

I remember you saying that you are using a 8" fan. I just hooked up one. How are you keeping the noise down with it. Maybe yours is not as loud as mine

I could easily and soundly defeat Chongo in any election due to the fact that, unlike him, I have a general idea of what decency is and I'm not a pathetic embarrassment to God and all of life. However, his side made the decision to greedy up and not have primaries in order to pool up enough money so that the next entire year is nothing but twenty-four hours a day of elect Chongo again and PotChimp is an evil which hunter television commercials. So I'm on the fence about running.....
