Post Your Polyploids

You can try, problem with AUTOs is they are on a time schedule so the cuts are the same age as the donor plant they won't grow much longer than the donor.

I wouldn't touch an AUTO after it sprouts just let it grow out.
I understand, but I see it as the only way to make her life longer, otherwise I can't make polyploid seeds out of her I guess. Can you advise me?

Can try "reversing" her with STS but she's already in flower. With AUTOs I think you need to start early to reverse sex. I'm not breeder so I don't have any idea on how to reverse AUTOs but I have friends that do it.

That was from seed and I breeded one that was in the same pot this is what happens when u put more than one plant in the same pot

ya know,, to 2bits about something i think i am reading in here,, is there thinking that a seed can be harvested from a polyploid and it will produce a polyploid plant:hmmmm:?

just curious if that be so,,

i really would question the probability of that happening, is all

cheers friends,

I asked - you need to start reversal process on AUTOs around day 14 or so from seedling. Basically BEFORE flowering starts.
What about letting her to flower longer? I have read somewhere that it may force female to produce male parts to make seeds on her own. If it's true is it possible to harvest half or more plant and the question is does plants can survive that? Just asking I'm very new in growing cannabis

cheers friends,

We will soon see. I have S1 seeds in hand from Beez that he made for me. There's always gonna be that 1-2% chance of getting a mutation.

I'm wondering if that % will increase since the genes were copied with the reversal process. Should be interesting.

It can happen with long running Sativa - I get seeds from them anytime I run them longer than say 100 days. They usually pop a few nanners but AUTO plants finish on a time frame. So when that time is up the plants are pretty much done and wont do much if anything after that but beings its a mutation anything can happen.

S1’s unlock 25% more recessive genes than the mother plant.

As soon as I start reading about genetics in plants, my brain starts to hurt.

Why I'm a grower and soil guy. The whole genetics thing for me its like a big rabbit hole. I know its there, try not to step in it. lol

This seed I'm talking about not only S1 but S1 from a 3rd generation clone of a mutant.

I had always thought clones are exact genetic copies. With mutants we can see a change from clone to clone. It's not subtle either.

With this plant we made seeds from I'm looking for vigor, high metabolism (short flowering and VEG times) and high THC content.

Hopefully since S1 seed, that path to the keeper will be a short one.

Nspecta at CSI Humboldt is searching through Triangle Kush S1’s right now. He’s found three of OG Kush main phenos in the TK lineage. Suggesting OG Kush is an S1 of TK or possibly a sister from the same mother.

Guys I have this strange plant since for a almost 7 weeks, some stems look like mutated some not. One mutated stem has other stem divided in the middle. And 3 tops instead of one big like other branch. She toped her self by her own. I would like to have seeds out of her to see if seeds would be same as she is. I didin't do anything to Forse her to make her own seeds with same genetic. Today I sow same strange things going on with her. I'm not sure but I think I see some male parts growing on some branches. Coule someone who understands more them me take a look to the pictures?
