very nice up and coming plant. don't worry about the poor man's set up zb. sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and it looks like it's working for you so keep it up. now that you have your feet wet, have you ever thought of using the back two feet of your closet as a vegging and blooming room? i bet you could do a nice job. :peace:

Obliviconsent - the reason i am on here doing a journal is for that reason alone, all the positive feedback and helpful information is making me addicted to this site LOL:cool:

cowboy - thanks, i have definitely considered doing that on my next grow for sure as im moving within the next 2 months..so i will definitely be following up with that idea

sad update tho yesterday morning i opened the closet to find the one light i had rigged hanging upside down over top of the plant fell. It didn't hit any of the main buds except two of the lowest branches on the plant that are gonna be left a little longer to ripen up fully anyways so i was lucky :yahoo: i fixed the light so it wont fall anymore, and the plant seems to be doing fine...didn't even stop growing. the one bud that got squished is looking better today too, so i think shes gonna be fine :) pics coming soon

I Kid. Dont worry too much like langa said it has happened at some point to EVERY ONE. My last grow for example, I dropped my lights on my gal not once, not twice but THREE times.. I felt awful every time. though you know whats nice about MJ? she is very forgiving. Also very hardy and always bounces back. So don't beat you self up too much over this. JUst say some kind words to her and let her know you still love her and she will forgive you.

By the way have you considered posting some more photos??

Ok so first off, i just went and inspected madison, and it looks like i'm either overwatering or overfeeding or something,, her leaves are staring to cup down and curl. the tips are a bit burnt too.. you can see it a bit in the top half pic. anyone have any guesses?

thats all the bud porn for now...anyone have any idea what i'm doign wrong to cause those leaves? i'll take a pic of the leaves in a bit

if your leaves are curling down like a horn and you have a bit of burn then i would head towards bit to much nutes mine did it in veg i backed the nutes off and they come right pretty quick thats my 2 pennies worth, im sure others will maybe give you more info...looking good though bro

:bravo: Beautiful pics, once again man! you can really work that camera! Madison is looking very lovely as well.

I would agree with langa back off the nutes a touch. What is your feeding schedule? did you recently increase your nute strength? Just wondering so we can get to the bottom of this before its too late.

For soil based grows a good schedule is feed-water-water. so thats nutes once every three waterings. This gives the plant time to eat up the nutes as well as gives the soil time to rinse out built up nutes. Cause if your feeding every time you water your building the soil up into a toxic site with out rinsing with clean PH water in between feeding. just some food for thought.

Thanks everyone! :smokin: Chrome, since i started flowering i've been doing water - feed - water...at first i started off using 5 ml to 1 L of water every time i fed, then i upped it to 7ml to 1 and 1/2 L. Recently i just started doing 10ml to 2L (i think ive done 2 or 3 feedings of this) everytime i fed but i think im gonna switch to the routine you suggested..since i've done 10 ml ive started to see a tiny bit of a nute burn but now it's getting worse so the next 3 times i water - no nutes :tokin: hopefully things are going to get better! :peace:

hey zb, your plant is looking nice. if your still stressing about the yellow tips, no worries man just flush you plant a day or two she will be ok. as much as i love them, remember she's just a weed and she'll come round. mj grows everywhere and anywhere it's very resiliant , treat er right and she'll do you good. :goodluck:

oh by the way zb, i've never dropped a light on my plants but i've had my plants grow into my lights. let me tell you i was more worried about my lights . i just tied them away and they they rebounded quickly. looking forward to your next pics.

I've come close to dropping my lights a few times,, and I have snapped branches,, or really bent them by moving them around too quick, and burnt a few leaves by letting them grow into the lights,,,

they take the abuse, and come back for more..lol

yeah less nutes is always ok. you can always add more. next watering.
i never use the full dose on mine and i dont have any issues. usualy
