@DopyLemontree hey bud. Just got the snake oil today, instructions call for it to be mixed in with a brix application.

My question to you is, can I spray this alone on just the cereal milk? Meaning, yesterday, they were given just brix. I really want to get ahead of this mg deff. The cereal milk is really starting to fall behind. It’s overall stunted and want to try and correct it before flower.

Is it safe to do a light application of just snake oil or should I wait until 7-10 to just mix it in with the next brix application. I feel if I wait, I’ll cause more harm.

edit: just noticed the bottle's ingredients are "Directions for use: shake well. mix 10ml of snake oil with 2 tbs of dextrose in 1 quart of water..." Dont have any dextrose on hand, so I guess i need to wait 7 days to mix it with brix and apply it with the brix.

Pooks, is wait. Typically I think SO is used in the beginning stage of bloom. If you're only doing 1 plant, mix up 2oz of water with 2ml of brix and 0.5ml of SO. You'll have a little left over. They looking better?

I’ll probally be holding off, due to spraying brix on 3/14. I didn’t expect the snake oil to get her so fast, so I jumped the gun on spraying brix.

The cereal milk is falling behind and it’s 100% mg deff in my eyes. She’ll still produce but I really want to clear it up before flower.

Yeah there is clearly a reason they’re mixed together before application. Waiting seven days to spray so. If that doesn’t turn around the cereal milk I may just cull it and give the space to the healthy dp and Smurffzilla.

The other foliars have dextrose in them, while Snake Oil doesn't, so it needs to have dextrose added or piggyback with one of the others. The dextrose is needed for absorbtion - to break surface tension.

Did some light defoliation to get some growth sights exsposed. Didn’t touch the cereal milk, figure she’s already trying her hardest to just grow.

I can’t speak about this dark plasma enough... it grows like a beast. It’s also got this weird self topping/stem splitting going on. I saw at least 3-5 main stems that just split in half and grew equal, regardless that one side isn’t getting much light. I’ve seen a plant do it on one branch but this beast has multiples.

She’s still super droopy. Can’t wait to see if she rebounds from the snake oil in a few days from now.

One of the dark plasma self top’ed branches. There’s one that split at the base of the main stem. This thing is a branchy beast, excited to see her shoot upwards.

Nothing to report. Just some more light training and leaf picking. I think flower will start sometime next week.

Next schedule watering is probably tomorrow or Thursday. They haven't gotten anything since transplant. Nice long dry cycle to grow into their new shoes. Ill be wrapping the pots in plastic wrap next time they're out of the tent.

So following the schedule, Plain water is up next. My question to the advance users, should I add some epsom salt to the cereal milks watering? I think i recall Doc recommending this. I also have the brix spray+snake Oil ready for this thursdays.

This update, the smurfzilla appears to LOVE the new home. Dark plasma is still just growing like a beast. Cereal milk is a little bit better but still struggling.

Ahhh. ok. Makes sense. Snake oil + brix it is! Im upping the feedings all around. On transplant i did 30ml per gallon of transplant drench and that seemed to be right. Ill do my next growth at 20ml per gallon.

They loved it! they were all showing signs of under feeding plus that first feeding they got was VERY light due to user error haha.

Yep I say follow your senses, your the one there. If you notice a difference for better, go for it. Just be ready to back off if the plants protest. Doc alway says to tap into your inner green thumb that we all have deep inside.

I think I’m going to use it on all the plants. They all seem a little under fed still. With the smurfzilla and the cereal milk having mild mg deficiencies.

it is mixed 1 part snake oil to 4 parts Brix. Brix is mixed at 1ml/oz of water. Very few strains require it, only the salt loving plants (hydro bred) are candidates for snake oil, especially if there is OG in the lineage.

Only use it twice in flower. If you over do it you will know.

How much light are you blasting your plants with? I ask because it seems you've had some drooping issues since the start. Amy Gardner has an outdoor plant that did the same thing and finally discovered it would perk up when the sun wasn't beating directly on it. Maybe that droopy one is just getting too much light. I don't think I've seen HB plants stay droopy their whole life like that. Just a suggestion, I'm sure they'll still turn out fire.

I’m assuming it’s safe to use in veg? I was planning on applying it once before flower to help with the mg deff on the cm.
