Still trying to tame these beasts! Everytime I tie down the main growth, it curls back up and starts going to the light before my under growth has time to take off. (Lemon Haze)

On the gorilla glue, the growth is staying down but the new growth doesn't seem to be growing much. It's almost like she entered limbo

Just got home from work :yahoo:

Did my 2nd check for the day on the girls. Gorilla glue is slowly coming out of it's daze!

Meanwhile, the lemon haze flat out refuses to stay down. Tied down the main cola..again! I might not be getting it low enough to trick the plant into making a new one. Tied her down farther after this picture. The undergrowth is starting to enjoy it's time in the light! :surf:

While I'm doing this update, I have a watering question as well. I've been watering every other day instead of every day. I have about 60% coco mixed with 30% soil and 10% Perlite. Rough estimates. It seems like there's still moisture in the soil even after a day of no watering. Very very little, but not bone dry. My plants seem ok with the schedule, but idk if they're getting fed and watered enough with this hybrid medium I've got.

Bend it a little further every day until it's close to level with the edge of the pot. Pipe cleaners and binder clips. If it outgrows the edge start to train it around the pot away from most of the new growth to keep it clear.
How I perform LST, low stress training, on my Autoflowers: lots of pics!

Any reason you chose to complicate your life? ;)

Thanks for the tips! It'll take a couple grows before I get it down real well, but that's the fun part!

As for my complicated decision making, I for some reason thought mostly coco with some soil and added Perlite would give me some benefits of soil but keep good flow through the medium. Newbie mistake! I'm just going to do 80/20 coco/Perlite on my next grow I believe

Update earlier than expected. Wife was in a car accident (thankfully she's ok) so I came home early for the night.

After getting calmed down, I got those pictures I promised.

I decided to just let the gorilla glue grow out how she sees fit. She wasn't liking my lst, so I decided to leave her be.

The Lemon Haze is loving pretty much anything I do to her. She's a strong one indeed. She's filling out quite nicley and the lst I've been applying is getting that lower growth pushed up and getting a nice round canopy started.

Both girls are loving the boost in food. I think maybe they've been hungrier than I thought!

Temp 76°F RH 65%

Wow PS! I'm so glad to hear she's okay. :Namaste:

Plants look terrific! What about the training was bugging the GG and is that wire in there what you were using for training?

Thank you!

I believe I almost topped her on accident with too much force but not completely. She slowed to a halt while repairing the damage, and I was afraid I'd make it worse.

That is wire I originally used. It's no longer pulling but I haven't taken it out. Lazy I guess lol

Lemon Haze is a pretty strong sativa-leaning plant so longer node spacing would be expected. I think GG does most of its stretching in flower so it may get leggy as it goes!

Some people raise their lights to encourage longer nodes but since both of yours are the same distance away it's down to genetics.

Ok that makes me feel better! They both appeared healthy to me, but being my first grow I really wasn't sure. Thank you! :)

I think I'm going to end up swapping lights. I currently have a Phlizon 600w LED light. I didn't do enough research on lighting however and the PAR rating is...well...sub par.

Now I'm looking into a VIPARSPECTRA 600w LED. PAR rating is much higher, and light reviews are much better as well.
I just bought yesterday!!!! PAR IS HIGH ,great actual wattage im jappy
