What I am trying to say is if there is not enough sunlight hours and more dark hours the plant can't fully veg and will flip itself straight into flower, which could cause the stunted appearance. The temperature is not the most important factor unless its freezing....
wouldn't be surprised if those either begin flowering or hibernate for a bit then stretch as we get closer to spring?.....
Of course I could be wrong however that is my experience with late fall/winter outdoors grows.
It's summer where I'm at and flowering doesn't start till the first week of February.
