PK Perpetual Grow Journal 2020

its in the video.

Since the plants in my soil are thriving, I thought to start a journal. So here it goes;
I do like to thank some of the well known members who have helped me out up to this point.
@Pennywise @MochaBud @Emilya @The Phantom

The seeds are from a stash i purchased and every nug had many seeds in it. I don't know what strain or what kind of weed it was as i saved it for few months before i decided to grow them and i forgot what the weed was called.
The equipments I have purchased were from another grower that decided to stop and since i've bought a complete setup, i thought down the road i would upgrade on what i need.

My tent is 2"x2"x5"
Current light upgraded to MarsHydro TS1000
Carbon filter and exhust
AC with air intake to the tent
1 humidity and temp checker
1 Digiten temrature controller

The plants are currently in Vegetaive stage. They were germinated as a wet paper towel method back in March/2020. Since it is my first growth and with the mistakes taken they were growing slowly. However, with the help of some well known members here at 420 the plants are doing much better.

The tents settings is:
Current Temp/humidity 24c/51%
High/Low temp 27c/19c
AC temp set to 22c

Both plants are growing in soil that is inside of a yougort cup that i have put holes at the bottom for water to drain. They will be transplanting into a fiber 3' and 4' fiber pots. (not sure of the exact name)
The soil is ProMix HP and I have added little bit of wormcasting to the mixture.

Currently i am water the plants every 3/4 days. I am slightly noticing that the bigger yougurt cup is drying quicker.
i've been following The Proper Way To Water A Potted Plant by @Emilya
Currently, I am using MegaCrop nutritions.
Water mixture ph 6.5 and 300ppm

The pictures are taken at the current stage and the two plants are growing beutifully.

I am interested of finding out what strain and sort of plants they are. As i have 30 seeds saved up :snowboating:
If you do like to read everything that has happened up to this point you can read it here First time growing

Also, the hydro plant will have its own seperate journal, but it might pup up on some pictures.
All looking healthy PK good work
Fabric Grow Bags or Planters, yep
Is that an Aeroponic bubble bucket PK ?
I ask because I have one on the go using an air pump,air-stone, and stabilizing with Z7 but renamed to Z9 in our country. Are you using nutrient in the water?

lol, i'm not sure of the exact word but if its a aeroponic or dwc or whatever.
Yes, diffusers, air bubbles, z9 with 2 part mc

It's hard to know at this point since the nute issue isn't settled, but I have my doubts about that pH down you're using. I'd see if you can get your hands on something else, like pH Down by Gen Hydro or battery acid from an auto parts store.

not sure if you fell behind on page 85/86 but i now have both parts and i am using 10grams of part A and 6grams of part B based on the calculator. This gives me a base of 700+ppm in 4 gallons of water.
I've dilated that with tap water to get a reading of 420ppm

ppm has gone down and yesterday i noticed the water level was down. I've filled up the water to the level which is half inch above the net pot. i know the beginning of the roots is in the water but i am also up watering from the rez to make sure the roots stay moist.

i've not tried gen hydro ph down but i know allot of members here use it. I guess i'll grab a bottle and see how that goes?

:yahoo:

I did skip a few pages where it looked like you were off on a tangent...

I'd check with the hydro folks here and see what they use. I just mentioned pH Down because it's most popular generally. Battery acid is supposed to work really well and be the cheapest option of all.

i take i don't need to use much of the battery acid to bring that ph down. I was hoping this TNB stuff would work as its also safe for aquariums, but funny enough it also raises my fish tank ph.

From Felipe:
I dilute the battery acid down to 7.5% and use it as a pH down. And actually, it does provide additional sulfur, which is considered essential for increasing flavor. I use this because a) it’s cheap and readily available at any auto parts store, and b) I don’t want to add too much phosphorus to my mix (most pH down is a diluted phosphoric acid).

If you decide to dilute battery acid, REMEMBER - ACID INTO WATER!!
(A before W) - doing the reverse can result in serious injuries.

this is so stupid. You can buy a 1 gallon ph down for 40 dollars or get a 1quart for 34 dollars?
I take im going to be using alot of ph down so probably the 1 gallon would be the better way of going

7.5ml of battery acid into 92.5ml of water will give you 100ml of 7.5% solution. Scale as needed!
ok, than i guess you take your 7.5% solution and add as needed to the rez water?

With one bucket you won't be using a lot of pH down you will be adding a few milliliters at a time.
lol, human nature always starts with one and god knows ends up with how many :laughtwo:

I know right? You don't have any local stores that sell it?
i do, but there pricing is more then online. I'm getting my hand on some acid. I'm going to give it a try.
