Pitmaster Grows Some Smoke!

do you leave your clear solo cups like that or do you put them in a solid color cup to keep the light from hitting the roots? & do you have drain holes in the clear ones?

I leave them in the clear cups and yes plenty of drain holes. The lights are turned down low enough that the roots won't be harmed. If I use red cups, I can't see the root development so it's a guessing game when their ready for transplant. been doing it this way a long time now.

Almost 2 weeks since the Green Gelato and Royal Gorrila broke ground. Today week 1 since the North Thunderfuck broke ground all have good roots and will be transplanted into 5 gal pots filled with FFOF in the next 2 days.

After running chores this am I prewashed the clay balls for bottom drainage. Added the FFOF soil in the 5 GaI pots premoistened the soil in the pots. Tomorrow the seedlings from my last post will be placed in them with a bit more water and back in the tent
