You are so welcome! I hope I don’t lead you astray, LOL.

Yeah. Hydro is fun.
So far I like it. My next grow will be either converting to rdwc or an eb & flow setup. I keep seeing great things about cocoa and would like to try it eventually.

I have used two distinct media for my net pots. First, I used rock wool, and have even used the 6 inch cubes to plant the seedlings in. Then I switched to hydroton, and that is what I use now. I don't recycle my media. I did that once and got pests. I love the ebb and flow setup, because it seems to be the easiest to control (watering times). However, I wouldn't spend the money I did on the equipment - I would do it myself by buying a cement tray for the flooding tray, and a big tote for my reservoir. The fittings are all available online, and from there you can do a good job of creating your own setup. Or, if you want the flood tray that the manufacturer creates for the ebb and flow, you can buy that separate. I wouldn't even buy a tent. I'd be creating the environment with mylar in the closet under the stairs, and light proof the door. It would be simpler. I may still do that and abandon my tent next year. Once I get enough grown to do me a long time, I will be reorganizing the under the stairs space.

Time for an update!
The flowering tent is doing its job. No issues there. I'm a little surprised that one plant is shorter than the others, but it doesn't seem to make a difference in the way the colas are forming. The temp has been steady at 73 degrees all week, even at night. We are having a little cool down right now, weatherwise, in Missouri. It is more like fall than summer. The trees are even starting to turn. I'm glad it isn't too hot, because the strain I'm currently growing (Mazari Grape) likes cool weather.
Clones are all rooted now and starting to grow heavier stems and little leaflets. I'm still not feeding the clones anything but ph'd water and a tiny bit of rapid start in it. Plus mycorrhizae and Z7 enzymes. The water smells a bit mossy, but it seems to be OK. Probably because of the additives.

Pictures! The blooming buds are looking good in the large tent, and in the cloning tent the clones have roots that look like fish skeletons, LOL.
First, let me show you the large colas developing. There are lots of branches, as usual in a scrog, and they are developing fast. We are only two weeks into flower right now, plus a couple of days. Mazari Grape takes about a week longer usually than White Widow, about 8 or 9 weeks. But they are showing power at the moment.

Meanwhile, the clones.

Notice the plant in the upper right - it has new leaves. The light is only at 10 percent or less, and I still get new leaves.

Roots!

Looks like a discotech up in here!

Update, no pics (sorry - had issues here but will fix).
Today the canopy was so dark underneath, that I jumped the gun and defoliated underneath and removed a few extra fan leaves above the canopy (but nothing above three inches).
I'm leaving the fan leaves on the colas, because they are working to build bud. The ones not getting light were removed and now I can see daylight on the tray again. Another factor with indicas, especially Mazari Grape is mold, because the colas are so large and dense. I upped the fans to max, hoping to reduce the humidity and give them air to grow bigger.
I'll post the pics later.

I put the fast track on the clones so I can pick and choose. I only need three, but may prepare the four best just in case. The lights were upped to 20 percent and new growth is apparent on most clones. In a few days I will know which ones to keep. I thought that since they all had baby buds, that I would see some revegging, but the leaves coming out are normal. That's interesting.

I've had clones taken in veg start to flower in my aero-cloner under 24/0 lighting. I never figured out why but they didn't need to reveg when I put them in soil. They just grew like normal clones would.
Interesting, huh?

Better late than never - here are pics!
These show the defoliation before and after. The last two photos show the clones and roots.

Two of my clones are showing signs of dying. The roots quit growing. So those are going to be culled and I will have six to choose my three keepers from.
The die off began after upping the lights and introducing base nutrients. Neither of these had new leaves, either. I'm beginning to understand that some plants just don't live. No matter what. I'm thinking that this next spring, I'm going to try some other types of ganga to grow. I'd like to grow a haze variety and maybe some blue varieties.
