@Emilya, have you ever had a plant just die on you? Like mine did me? LOL

Then I won't feel too bad. I guess it could happen anytime. But that's OK. I have plenty to smoke in the meantime. LOL
Just looked at your Acapulco Gold journal. Yeah - that would be a disappointment. I don't think I ever smoked anything good in the 1970s. It was mostly just Mexican brick.

I think you are both correct. But in any case, I destroyed the plants by putting them down the garbage disposal.

Hello - it's Sunday, and yesterday we drained and cleaned the reservoir in the large tent. I mixed the nutrients for the fourth stage of GH's spreadsheet, "transition to bloom."
It's all looking good. Last night I changed the large tent over to 12/12.
In eight or nine weeks I will harvest.
In the cloning tent, which is now once more a cloning tent, eight clones are rooting with three percent light.
Here's pics:

Thanks, Penny. I tried to get them to be all the same relative size. I will be only keeping three. Again, I feel it is a waste, but this way the three best will grow to fruition.

Don't sound too excited!
LOL ok, I will restrain myself! I think, re-reading my op, my point was that’s how long it takes, probably.

@Weaselcracker @InTheShed @Pennywise and I'm drawing a blank on who else, but see above and let me know what you think might have happened. If you have time, that is. Thanks!

Oh hey PT, sorry I dropped the ball on this one. But I would have just said the same thing as the other folks in that the only thing I’ve had kill a plant like that, without any other obvious cause, is root issues. I also once had a plant die when the stem rottted out down low, for no real obvious reason. I don’t think the silver would have been a factor with yours, but who knows...

Aw, Weaselcracker, that’s ok.

Well! It's Sunday evening Monday morning, and I'm stoned. Oh, but that is not why I'm posting. Yes, it is time once again for an update on the grow! (Hyperbole intentional).

Nothing remarkable really happened this past week. I mean, nothing like what went on the last two weeks before that. My clones are rooting nicely. And because they sat in the flowering cycle in the small tent as just cuttings, apparently they went into flower, even though they were in there only about one week. So each clone has developed a tiny bud, right on top of it. Two have roots, and the other six are about to sprout some any day. I love this cloning method. @Emilya, you are a genius. It makes me sick that five of them have to die. I feel like a Nazi, thinning the herd. But, the good news is that the nicest three will get to grow up in the big tent someday soon. And since they are going to be revegging, I'm looking for some monsters.

In the big tent, I have three monsters. These were clones of one plant I had growing in the last grow. I strategically cropped and fimmed them while they were babies in the cloning tent, and by the time they went into the big tent, they nearly hit the top of the scrog screen. Of course, you would remind me that I nearly killed them by not checking that the water was turned on (it was off). But they survived and have thrived. I am beginning to believe that the near disasters I put my grows through make them hardier and tougher and bigger and meaner. Because these suckers are nearly out of the tent. I'm loving it. And they are loving the light they are getting.
Two things that I have noticed about the Mazari Grape, comparing it to the White Widow X Big Bud I was growing before - 1) They are shorter and although they do stretch a bit the first week or so of flower, they make a compact scrog.
2) One week into flowering, buds are forming noticeably. Tomorrow I expect to see white hairs. I mean later today, of course.
The aroma wafting from this tent when I open it is amazing. And it is particular to this strain. Sage, rosemary and a hint of cedar. And a tiny bit of skunk.

That’s the great thing about clones is they cut 2-3 weeks from your grow cycle.
Yes, and maybe more. In a couple of weeks I will begin hardening the clones by upping the light a bit and adding nutrients. Right now, they are on 3 percent light and ph’d water with a bit of rapid start added. I just checked the plants. Two more clones have roots and I have white hairs on the buds in the big tent.
