Pigeons420 Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

My friend, thos is what happened to mine. I'm thinking that these pineapple express are not meant to be trained too hard. I feel your pain brother

the hermie thing is somewhat a concern.. but if it's stress related it could lead to feminized seeds. that kick may be more of a hard caress :laughtwo:

it's risky, but there is a possibility. i've actually done it numerous times. not on purpose :bigblush: it may be somewhat strain dependent because i do see conflicting reports. BigSur posted this..
but my experience has been just the opposite. with one exception where i bred all hermies. i would say over 90% of my results have been feminized. i was also reading about colloidal silver recently and saw some info regarding stress being the old way of producing fem seeds. i read it in a book once as well.. may have been something from ol' Ed R.. can't remember.

* i do remember stressing out somewhere in this journal about stress  this is the info that was probably causing the conflict in my head. it was blending with clone culture info.. which i will get back to eventually ;)

I did a bunch of research on this subject too and yea I heard the same thing. I had an issue with a certain strain going hermi on me everytime so I traced it back too what you said, hermi seeds. Mind you, I tend to play a little rough with my plants and there is always that chance of me forcing it to herm... Man o man there's just so many variables!

i use the i'm gone 12 hours a day neglect approach :laughtwo: i did pick up a bottle of CS tho. plan on doing it the right way soon :)

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

that scared me a bit. could lst make my girls grow penises?
i knew about light stress but never heard that

well i didn't see LST or bending on the lists of stress, but i would imagine it wouldn't be much different. especially with auto's. the lists i saw said heat, drought, and lighting were the primary culprits.. but they were talking photo's i think.

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

It's an auto thing. I've heard that of autos being stressed to hermie. It's not a strain thing, Bill so don't be too concerned.

As for trying to seed her out in my grow room or picking them off. Unfortunately, I'm just not at the place in my journey to take a task on like this. I have to much to lose to take the gamble that this would entail. Don't think that I didn't consider creating a boys room to take such a task on. But, I'm just not ready. I've gotten to the point that I now rely on my perpetual garden too heavily to have something catastrophic happen, such as pollinating my room.
So, he got the chop and is headed to the dump. I salvaged as much of her as I could because it'll still mix well into my shakes. But as for the rest. Out he goes.

Thanks for trying to help me guys!! You each bring a smile to my face.

That is interesting as heck,, all the research I have read about reproduction, hermies, etc, I have never come across that timbit,, great info,, i am sure going to watch for that,, I want some fem seeds,, but maybe these might be hit and miss??, that would be annoying as all get out,, near worthless, least for planning with,, thanks agin,, cheers

Pidge,
Sorry, and sad, to hear "she's" a "He"
It's frustrating and I've been there too, all the AK47 seeds I got from a friend, with the exception of one, that my neighbors ripped, all turned . Out of frustration, I havn't tried to grow another.
But you are right, you can't afford to seed you're whole room. Chin up bro, smoke a coupla bowls and be happy, it's not you're fault.:high-five:
