Piña's Gone Posh: 2nd Journal, 1st Tent

Looks great! Not sure I would have done anything different other than lay out some of the lowers as it grew. Not even sure it would have made a difference. :high-five:

Thats good to know, thanks :D

First time growing under anything other than T5's, getting any height has never been an option for me before.

Going to up my plant count to 4/5 next time, so training will be needed I'm sure. Although I'm going for at least one spog™, else there won't be enough space in there.

:Namaste:

Let's hope not! Just train to maximize the space. 4 can be better than 5 if you can spread them out to fill in all the gaps.

Maybe, but I'm still aiming for quality, variety, quantity in that order. Wish I had more space to work with, but that's not going to happen any time soon. So for now one or two spog™'s aren't going to upset me if it means more variety.

That is unless you're going to burst my bubble and tell me size really does matter, but that goes against everything my wife's been telling me all these years :p.

Plus they really are cute

Here's the Blueberry being terrorized by Dobby, don't worry no damage done, and I did NOT let her eat any of my weed.

Dobby's such a timid cat, she wasn't going to mess with the Amnesia

013.JPG

She was scared by it's shadow and run off :D. I gave the Amnesia the nutes I mixed up on Wednesday, the pot was very light again. She's a thirsty girl.

The third sister, Honey Peach is ready for the chop

Not going to have chance to do anything with her until after the weekend. So for now she has a stay of execution, a few more days willl not hurt.

Cheers for stopping by

LOL! No one ever gets a straight answer to that question from anyone who matters :).

A spog® is good for variety, that's true. But if you love the smoke make sure you have some extra beans. I think my last spog® was 9 grams dried!

That Amnesia is a great looking plant. You should consider entering it into the POTM sometime :thumb:.

WOW praise indeed, we'll see. The competition for POTM is a bit fierce, have to see how she performs in the coming weeks. Of course I've got to keep her healthy that long lol. She's got a max of 4 weeks left to do her thing.

Congrats on the MOTM nomination by the way

Sorry, busy weekend and just catching up! Thanks PD, it's an honor to be recognized by the great community we have here.

Your spogs® look great for spogs®! Proud members of the club :thumb:

Good evening
:420:hope everyone's good. Just a quick update tonight, not got a lot of time, had a really busy weekend myself.

Not had time or space to do any culling yet, been too busy entertaining guests. So the spogs®'s still live.

Here's the Honey Peach, she's going to hang when I finish up here. She's done :p

The Blueberry still seems to have a bit left in her, couple of leaves have gone purplish. She'll be hung soon, but not just yet.

Anytime. Might be a little foxtailing going on too. I was hoping for a flourish :D

The Amnesia's getting excited about being in the tent solo.

008.JPG

She got a good watering tonight, no nute's. She's not had anything since Friday, tonight's the first time I've looked at them all weekend  Pleased to see they coped ok

Thats all for now cheers for stopping by

:Namaste:

Is your runoff high? Why not feed at the time the Amnesia should be bulking up?

Run off's not high, I'm just super cautious about over feeding a guess and feed every other watering. You think she could do with more?

Interesting stuff about flushing, makes sense really.

Always welcome to suggestions, cheers Shed and you o' silent MoN :p

:Namaste:

Are you running water/feed/water/feed? I feed every time in soil and just check runoff and the leaves to make sure I'm not overpowering the plant. Sometimes I go three or four days without the plant needing water and that seemed too long to go without nutes to me, so I feed every time.

Not that that plant doesn't look spectacular and whatever you've been doing sure seems to be working! I just thought you might be thinking of going water only from here on out and I was recommending against it in the nicest way possible :).

Cheers Shed yeah I've been feeding every other time, and as for flushing I normaly do just water for the last week. Might change that up a bit now :).

I'll let her recover from last nights drowning, and start feeding each time with the next one, and see how she does.

I've learnt from my past mistakes, and got the hang of the less is more part of growing. Now I got to try and work out how big the "less" can be.

:Namaste:

Man Pina, the amnesia is gorgeous!

Cheers mate, she's going great guns, and really starting to kick up a stink. I so hope I've got time to finish her.

It appears you might have been on to something Shed. Tonight I see her starting to complain.

Middle leaves are going pale. Gave her a good watering with .5ml bio grow, calmag and 1ml of bio bloom and top max in about 750ml water. See if that makes her happy, and repeat in a couple of days.

Her she is in all her glory.

045.JPG

I can see lights and a star in her future lol

The Blueberry is still going, but I'm going to have to call it soon.

042.JPG

She really is smelling great, I'm having a hard time chopping her lol.

The Honey Peach was chopped Monday, hung until earlier today and then cobbed.

037.JPG

There she is sat in her 40c water bath, she'll be there 24hrs. She was 32g after her short hanging, so one spog® makes one cob. Check the thread if you want more info

Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

really interesting stuff in there.

That might be my worst case plan for the Amnesia. Let her go until my last day here, 3.5wks from now. Chop, wrap and vacume pack, (while the wifes packing :p), and then freeze to pause the process until I return.

Not ideal, not sure what the wife will have to say about it, but better than chopping early and trying to process before I go me thinks.

Cheers for stoppping by

:Namaste:

The Blueberry's almost there, I'd rather have her go too long, than too short.

She's got a fair amount of amber, but her tip keeps growing fresh, this is why I've not chopped yet. It'll be soon though.
I just delivered a bag of blueberry to a friend today. Man what a beautiful smell through 2 ziplock bags. I should have put that baby in the trunk!
