Sorry forgot to put the quote in I was replying to.
The girls got 1 gallon of 4.0 grams per gallon each with 1/2 the recommended dosage of Sea-K. I think at this point I’ll be feeding heavy and often with maybe every 3 days a good drink of just water because I’m afraid of possible build up due to the crazy evaporation rate here, 110F @ 10% or less RH. I know the Sunshine Mix is considered a soilless media and that it should be feed all the time but my situation may need require special circumstances. I’ll give them a big drink in the evening of pH water followed by a healthy drink of nutrients after, every 3 or so days.

Any thoughts on this, anyone?

4.75g a gallon seems to be the sweet spot for plants with MC nutr

@oldsmokey yes, i've also noticed from reading differnt threads that the strain that you are growing can take different levels of nutri. currently i am sitting at 5tbs of MC per gallon.

And he is probably cursing me for all the notifications :laughtwo:
I was like holy hell what did I say now that I have all these notifications!

Now that they've gone into flowing I've been feeding all the time, no more wastewater. My garden actually has been using up all my rdwc wastewater with the heat now anyways.

I think next time I'm growing outside during the desert heat I'll water to runoff and use a silica supplement.

Hey Phantom,

You have a beautiful setup, I’m jealous of the whole outdoor patio garden thing! Hot stuff growing in desert climate, I bet that adds some unique challenges. Nice setup with shade cloth & misting capabilities. You are definitely on right track with supplements, think kelp is good for mitigating heat & also that Vulx product has water retention properties.

There’s a question posted in the FAQ page about flushing perlite on rdwc system, can you take a stab at that one? here’s link... Flushing perlite

Sitting next to the girls now in the setting sun with a beer and cannot for the life of me figure out why there's so many GD flies around until I put two and two together and see they are all hanging around the stink of the girls. Things have gotten pungent, in a very skunky way, I can smell them from across the yard now. #1 is getting close, maybe a week. #2 is still a ways off, 2 weeks + if the humidity stays a bit longer.

They both definitely got melanoma being outside.
