Peyton's Sour Sky Hempy Grow 2014

I thought about it, but I think I'll wait till this hgk is ready. I want to enter a plant that I feel confident will win, and after seeing May's plants, it's tough. Maybe if I get a bunch of time I'll enter with sour sky, but I know I can do a lot better. This plant is growing in a 3 gallon can with only 2 gallons of perlite, so it didn't get nearly as big and bountiful as it could have. But I'm still happy with the end product, especially when it dries and cures

It's all good, take your time on the plan. Well, I guess you convinced me to enter next month. I am very proud of my first grow, I just hope the competition isn't as great as it was this month. But either way, I'm in. Thanks for the motivation and kind words.

Fed her another gallon of plain ph'd water today, and runoff is still coming out with pink color from nutes. At least I know now that I won't have to feed hgk everyday full strength. Save me some bucks on nutes. But she still hasn't changed colors at all. I was hoping she would cause I love how the plants look when they get all those yellows and reds in the leaves. Been taking a lot more pictures of her, trying to find some good ones for plant of the month. Other than that, still on cruise control. Hgk gets all the love now

Another gallon of water, and not much color left in runoff. gonna see about doing my harvest on Sunday. I'll take pictures for you guys. I had a rare opportunity today and got alone time! So instead of pleasuring myself lol, I moved sour sky, led, fans and exhaust all out to the garage setup. Didn't hook up ac yet, but the temps are around 85 and humidity at 45 percent. I went ahead and cut the screen off today and am letting her hair down for her final days

Are you going to trim wet or hang it and trim after it dries?

My buds dried very fast initially, I had to put them in paper bags to slow it down. I trimmed wet of course.

Cool. Then I'll probably trim it wet and after a few days do the paper bag. Gotta remember to get my boveda packs this week. Excited and nervous about drying and curing. I don't want them to get too dry and not be able to properly cure them

Just remember, too dry is better than too wet. You can bring back a bud that has been slightly over-dried (in a RH-controlled container), but a bud put away too wet will ruin everything...all of it.

So she seems to be adjusted to new room, not that it really matters since she gets the chop tomorrow. I'll probably give her 24 hours of darkness today. I watered her today and some got on floor, raised the humidity to 60 percent. Should be okay to dry in there I guess. Took some final pics of her today, will post later when guests leave. Gotta find two good pics for POTM.

alrighty, some more photos. tomorrow night i will try and post the pics that i take during harvest. cant wait!

I plan to. I don't think I can win, but I'll consider it a personal win if I get even 1 vote. But I would really love to win all that fancy stuff!
You should do pretty good. The voters like the stand alone massive buddage plants. Yours qualifies, just get real good pictures in the highest resolution your camera takes make sure they are in focus and get a good closeup of those beautiful buds. Take like 50 pictures and pick out the best, and get it in early, being one of the first is key also.
