Peyton's Sour Sky Hempy Grow 2014

Went to go put my HGK back in her cfl box for the night and already see the first true leaves popping through. I'll have plenty of space for my next grow, so I'm still not sure whether to do her in a 3 or 5 gallon bucket. Planning on an 8 week veg. 5 gallons the safe bet?
 
I have for the last two weeks been adding the Heisenberg tea, so I may have been experiencing water usage from new root growth.
 
Yeah, next grow I might try something different with nutes or teas. Still finish off my gh stuff, but not Lucas formula. Might just do it the way bottle says. Just wanted to keep first grow super simple.

I use GH Flora 3 part. I find it trouble free, and I can't complain about my results.
 
Do you do anything different from what the bottle states? I have the three part also, and I still have an unopened bottle of gh grow, probably need more bloom soon though. I heard mixed results about the Lucas formula, but I have no complaints so far.
 
Yep, simple two-part Flora Duo here, and I also follow the suggested feeding amounts with the caveat I can adjust depending on what they might be telling me. My first modern grow I used the "simple drain to waste" side of the card. This grow, I flipped the card over and I'm using the "Expert drain to waste". It has a few supplements, but I already had a couple I picked up late last grow (perhaps too late to have any real impact). Basically, I find getting started akin to painting by numbers provided you did a small bit of reading and have half a brain.
 
Got the literacy and brain power, just need to find the info lol. Is there a good additive for flowering that you know actually makes a difference? Want to get a little more out of my next grow but don't want to buy any snake juice or hocus pocus crap. Might look into flora duo or whatever the other hempy people are doing nowadays. I used Lucas formula for simplicity, but that was from a thread that was years and years old. I gotta get with the times
 
I think if you stay with the reputable companies, their products are decent and work. I use GH and have started using their Liquid Koolbloom. It's supposed to be a weight-enhancer. I used it the last few weeks of my last grow and have just started supplementing it in my current grow as they are starting to bloom.
 
I'm trying a kelp powder for a bloom booster this time, I only run the Lucas formula too. But I picked up some 0-52-34 kinda similar to that monster booster people seem to rave about. I'm just slowly introducing it as I'm just about 3 weeks into flower. They seem to like it I run my normal lucas and now I'm at about 1/2 strength of the kelp. I got 2lbs for under 20 bucks I'll let you know what the end result is.

Cool. Yeah, I'm looking for something that boosts PK that people are happy with and have noticeable results.

Subbed' better late then never. Looks like my ScroG until I had to cut them loose when I had a power outage. If the plants push that plastic netting up to much use braided carpenters line. Super strong and you can pull it super tight.Keep up the good work.
 
She doesn't push it that much anymore. At one point she split down center of stem when I pushed a little hard, but she pulled through perfectly. Can't wait till she is ready and HGK gets into led light. Welcome to the show, I'll post some more pics in a little bit, just gotta get some coffee in me
 
alrighty, as promised, i have some pictures i just took. the close ups are to show where i snipped to backbuild about 6 of the 10 main colas. happy with the results i'd seen from LA and tryshard, so now i gotta get in on it. other than that, everything is running smooth like always. HGK first true leaves are out and looking glorious. might pop a bagseed just to have a second plant with HGK in new grow room when it is finished.

Thank you! The last few days she seemed like she was losing her frosty luster, but when I looked today it was frostier than ever. Now I just need some fattening up. Hey tryshard, did you end up backbuilding the rest of your buds or are you letting them stay natural the rest of the grow?
